Easy OREO Truffles

Reviewed: May 5, 2012
I make these at Christmas for my annual cookie exchange...and everyone loves them. I use white merkens wafers and the white almond bark mixed together for an easy but solid coating. Get creative and use mint chips or skor chips with your chocolate!

They were ok, but nothing like the resturant one's I've ordered. I even tried playing with the coating, but it's just not the same. Sorry.

I used italian sausage and my homemade chili sauce, with a clove of crushed garlic mixed in. Sooo good, all I serve them with is a slice of tomato, they don't even need condiments!

Grandma Minnie's Old Fashioned Sugar Cookies

Great recipe! Basic, easy to follow and delicious! Excellent for cut outs too...we used Halloween cookie cutters but I'll be making these again for Christmas. Best of all, you don't have to chill the dough before rolling, just mix it with your hands to form a ball.

Warm Apple Pocket

This was alright, for a pie you can pick up and eat with your hands. Definitely quick and easy to make. Not as gooey as a traditional pie, but I'd make it again, as individual mini pies.

Pretty darn good...Mr. Picky and Picky Jr. loved it with my homemade raspberry jam. Next time I'll add a bit of sugar to the cream cheese

Christmas Breakfast Sausage Casserole

Why wait till Christmas morning? I made this for supper one night, and my family loved it! Added some black pepper and green onion, and only let it sit for a few hours, but it turned out great. And yes, you really have to grease the pan!!!!

Irish Cream Liqueur II

Yummy! Used semi-sweet instead of milk chocolate. Tastes much more chocolatey and better than store bought stuff! My cousin summed it up perfectly..."It tastes like drinking ice cream!" I almost don't want to share!!!!!

Man, I wish I wasn't on a diet! Smelled heavenly, and the husband and kids scarfed it down quickly. They said it was the best they'd had, and from my family, that says a lot! I'll make it again.

Slow Cooker Baked Beans

These were very good...however, it is a must to soak the beans overnight beforehand. The quick soak methood just isn't enough, even though I cooked my beans for about 8 hours.

Yum! This was easy and the results were delicious! It was even better the next day! I omitted the celery since I didn't have any and added potatoes to thicken it up a little. I'll make this again and again!

Extreme Banana Nut Bread 'EBNB'

I halved the recipe thinking 2 loaves were going to be too much...I was sooo wrong! One of the best banana breads I have ever tasted. I use pecans instead of walnuts for a change. I do have a problem with it burning though...mabye cook it longer and at a lower temp.

Yummy, especially warm. I sprinkle them with white sugar for extra sweetness, and add nutmeg to the filling for true apple pie taste!
