Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2014
Made this as the recipe called for...It was very easy, but didn't think it was anything spectacular taste wise.

Taco Pie

Made this as the recipe stated, but reduced the sour cream and added green onion and fresh chopped tomatoes for serving. Kids had 2 helpings, so I would make this again. My stonewear baking dish made the crust come out perfectly. Thanks for the recipe and suggestions!

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2014
Terrific recipe! I used Honeycrisp and Grannysmith apples, and I added a dash of cinnamon to the liquid. I've made it a few times, and sometimes I cheat and use store bought pie crust, but my own homemade crust makes it just that much better. Thanks!

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Crispy outside, chewy inside...and just as good the next day as warm from the oven! Best I've made, EVER.

Allison's Supreme Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2013
Just made a batch...oh my! They were totally awesome, but of course they're still warm, so the real test is tomorrow when they're cool. The coffee liqueur adds that extra special something. I'll make these again for sure!

Divine Chicken with Green Beans

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2012
Very easy, quick and tasty. I added a handful of shredded cheddar to the parmesan, and only used milk for the sauce instead of cream, and added salt and pepper, of course. My daughter loved it.

Easy OREO Truffles

Reviewed: May 5, 2012
I make these at Christmas for my annual cookie exchange...and everyone loves them. I use white merkens wafers and the white almond bark mixed together for an easy but solid coating. Get creative and use mint chips or skor chips with your chocolate!

Fried Dill Pickles

They were ok, but nothing like the resturant one's I've ordered. I even tried playing with the coating, but it's just not the same. Sorry.

Chili Burgers

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2011
I used italian sausage and my homemade chili sauce, with a clove of crushed garlic mixed in. Sooo good, all I serve them with is a slice of tomato, they don't even need condiments!

Grandma Minnie's Old Fashioned Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2008
Great recipe! Basic, easy to follow and delicious! Excellent for cut outs too...we used Halloween cookie cutters but I'll be making these again for Christmas. Best of all, you don't have to chill the dough before rolling, just mix it with your hands to form a ball.

Warm Apple Pocket

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2008
This was alright, for a pie you can pick up and eat with your hands. Definitely quick and easy to make. Not as gooey as a traditional pie, but I'd make it again, as individual mini pies.

Pretty darn good...Mr. Picky and Picky Jr. loved it with my homemade raspberry jam. Next time I'll add a bit of sugar to the cream cheese

Christmas Breakfast Sausage Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2007
Why wait till Christmas morning? I made this for supper one night, and my family loved it! Added some black pepper and green onion, and only let it sit for a few hours, but it turned out great. And yes, you really have to grease the pan!!!!

Irish Cream Liqueur II

Yummy! Used semi-sweet instead of milk chocolate. Tastes much more chocolatey and better than store bought stuff! My cousin summed it up perfectly..."It tastes like drinking ice cream!" I almost don't want to share!!!!!

Man, I wish I wasn't on a diet! Smelled heavenly, and the husband and kids scarfed it down quickly. They said it was the best they'd had, and from my family, that says a lot! I'll make it again.

Slow Cooker Baked Beans

These were very good...however, it is a must to soak the beans overnight beforehand. The quick soak methood just isn't enough, even though I cooked my beans for about 8 hours.

Basic Ham and Bean Soup

Yum! This was easy and the results were delicious! It was even better the next day! I omitted the celery since I didn't have any and added potatoes to thicken it up a little. I'll make this again and again!
