World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2012
I love this recipe, it always gets rave reviews when I take it somewhere. The only changes I made are with the sauce, I am not a huge fan of real meaty sauce. I use 1 lb of sausage and 1 lb of ground beef and I double everything else. This makes a ton of sauce that I then freeze the leftovers. I also took advice from other reviews and did not boil my noodles, just put them in hot water to make them pliable. I also found that making this and assembling it the day before then refrigerating it overnight seems to make it extra tasty. Thanks for the great recipe!

Hot Fudge Ice Cream Bar Dessert

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2012
This is so good and very quick and easy. I've made this twice now and every time it gets rave reviews. I do spread the chocolate mixture over the ice cream sandwiches first, then the whipped cream top, with nuts and repeat the next layer the same way. Just seems to be less messy this way.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2006
My daughter and I have never been a big fan of meatloaf, I rarely make it for dinner. This meatloaf has changed that, it is the best I've ever had. It is now in our regular rotation of meals. I only made one minor change to the recipe, increasing the brown sugar and ketchup to 3/4 cup each. Thanks for the great recipe!

Chocolate Cavity Maker Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2005
This was a great cake, very rich though. You definately do not need icing. I sprinkled the top with powdered sugar and served it with cool whip and fresh berries.

Aussie Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2005
I made this recipe for a dinner party and everyone loved it! I did do a few things differently from the recipe. I cooked the bacon in the microwave, faster and less grease. I also cooked the chicken on my George Forman grill instead of pan frying them, they were still very moist and it took very little time to cook. I also sauted my mushrooms before assembling the chicken dish. We saved the extra honey mustard and my daughter used it to dip chicken tenders in later that week.

Broccoli-Cauliflower Salad

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2005
I made this recipe for Easter and it was a big hit. I thought both the taste and texture were great. I followed the directions exactly, but only poured about 3/4 of the dressing on top of the salad. I put the remaining dressing in a bowl next to the salad so people could add more if they wanted.

The Best Corn Bread You'll Ever Eat

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2004
I tried this recipe because I wanted a cornbread that was moist. I loved the consistancy of it, very moist but it lacked flavor. I did add a 1/4 cup of sugar but still thought it needed something. I will definately try it again, just spice it up a bit.
