Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2015
Only modification I made was to some spices: a little rosemary, thyme and Indian spices for kick. I thought it came out great and everyone else said they loved it, too. Will def try again. Thanks to OP and other reviewers:)

Chef John's Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2015
Modifications: used 2 1/3 cups macaroni--maybe about 9 oz?--2 cups of shredded mild cheddar, 6 slices (4 oz) prepackaged American chz, 1/4 cup Italian breadcrumbs, 2 tb melted butter. Baked in 8x8 glass dish at 400 for 25 minutes. Outstanding. Maybe the best mac n chz I've ever had. Thanks to Chef John and other reviewers.

Baked Garlic Parmesan Chicken

Reviewed: May 11, 2015
Made as directed, cooked 32 min in glass dish and came out moist and tasty. Sprinkled the remaining bread crumb mixture on and will likely leave that out next time. Thanks to OP and other reviewers:) EDIT: Has become my easy go-to chicken dish. Upped from 4 to 5 stars. Thanks again!

Pesto Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2015
Made as stated. Very nice. Will play around with ingredients--most notably something other than provolone--but overall pretty solid. Used "Pesto" recipe by Anderval. Thanks to OP and other reviewers for contributing.

Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2015
Daunting ingredient list but not too much prep time. Followed mostly as stated, added some other spices, used beef stock vs bouillon. Touch too salty but could be my fault. Will try again. Thanks to OP and others for contributing!

Wedding Gift Spaghetti Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2014
Reduced servings to 22, as I had 3/4 lb each of ground beef and sausage. Also only used 4 cups of water. Still a little thin--likely go with 2 1/2 - 3 cups next time. Liked alot, though--will def make again. Thanks to OP and other reviewers for sharing.

Rich and Creamy Tomato Basil Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2014
This was my first attempt at soup; made this last week with some grilled cheese croutons--basically made a grilled cheese, cut it up into 16 squares, baked for a bit, and served them in the soup--and received rave reviews. Per other reviewers, did not peel tomatoes first but that jammed up my immersion blender; will peel next time. Thanks to OP and other reviewers.

Best Steak Marinade in Existence

Delicious marinade. Had one 16 oz strip steak, so I cut measurements in half and that was more than enough. Did not have dried parsley flakes or white pepper, so used fresh chopped parsley and black pepper instead. Thanks to OP and other reviewers for contributing:)
