Janet's Rich Banana Bread

I have made this before per he recipe and it was wonderful. Today, I didn't have all of the ingredients and changed a few things and I am now in love! I tripled the recipe to make three loaves this morning. I ended up not having three cups of sugar, so I used 2 cups white sugar and 1 cup brown sugar. We also had no nuts, so those we not used. After creaming sugar and ROOM TEMP butter together, we beat in the bananas. And the final alteration was beating in the sour cream last instead of folding it in. I am used to dense, moist banana bread, but this one actually turned out fluffy and moist.

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

Tuna Delicious

Doubled recipe (three cans of 5oz tuna). Used minced onion. Sauteed onion and tuna. Then added it to the sour cream and soup in a microwavable container. Heated for 5 minutes. Put it over the noodles.. It was done! Super EASY! and my entire family liked it! Definitely one to keep handy for a quick and yummy meal!

Sparky's Doggie Treats

Dogs loved them! Kids even want more...but I think it is just because they want to say they like the dog treats! LOL Made a LOT of mini treats....found Noah's ark cookie cutters at Michael's. They are perfect for smaller dogs. My bigger dog just gets more of them.

Cream Cheese Frosting II

FINALLY a cream cheese frosting where you can taste the cream cheese! If you don't want cream cheese taste, don't make it. The consistency was a wee bit runny, so I used it to first fill my devil's food cupcakes and then do a little embellishment on top. Wonderful!!! I am always disappointed when I taste the store-bought cream cheese frostings. This one will not disappoint!

Seafood Enchiladas

This was a wonderful recipe...and EASY! I used pre-shredded sharp cheddar cheese. I also used minced onion instead of chopping up my own...my family likes that better. I took some ides from other reviews and added a couple of extra ingredients. I added to the onion, 1 tsp minced garlic with its juices, a small can of green chiles. I omitted the garlic salt. The only other change was about 2 tsp chipotle chili pepper. When eating this, I was instantly brought back in time to a favorite dish I loved to eat at our favorite Mexican restaurant when my husband & I were dating...15 years ago. My only complaint about the dish was the tortillas were soggy on the bottom, possible due to excess butter or maybe the crab meat releasing its juices...it was bagged and ready to eat. I probably should have drained it well first. I will, however, make this again!!!!

Grandma's Sour Cream Pound Cake

After reading the other reviews, I too decided to change the recipe around. I omitted the mace, lowered the sugar content to 2 1/2 cups, added 1 tsp almond extract, lowered the temp to 325, but still cooked it for 1 hour 20 minutes as suggested. It turned out beautiful! This was the first pound cake I ever made, and I think it is a good one for me to use as a base to experiment with...like adding different flavorings and such. I had a friend eat some of it and she is still putting me in her "good cook" category, so if you are inexperienced at pound cake, this recipe will make it seem as if you were an old pro. And if you are wondering what I thought of the cake, my oinion doesn't count bacause I still have a cold and foods don't taste the same right now...my husband is the one that gave it 4 stars...

Crabby Potatoes

I wish I too had read the reviews first...way too much butter...heart attack waiting to happen. I will try it again with some of the other viewers' ideas. It has a lot of yummy potential.
