BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2005
This was really good. I used babyback ribs....with bones (they were on sale) The shredding part was a little time consuming. I really liked it alot. Hubby did not, he doesn't really like pork. Daughter kind of liked it. I also used sweet baby rays.

Best Ever Split Pea

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2005
This turned out a little too salty. I used Swansons chicken broth that was regular sodium. It was very good when I tasted it halfway through, but at the end it was too salty. Also I ate half without puree. The second half I pureed...I didn't like the texture and it intensified the saltiness. Also used half onion since I don't like strong onion flavor. I would make this again without the salt.

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2004
This is wonderful! My husband gobbled it up and so did my daughter. Very simple and quick, and inexpensive. I made with Exquisite Sauce. I cooked it on a pizza stone.

World's Best Potato Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2004
The texture of this soup is very thick and creamy, almost stew like. However I did not like the amount of onion in the soup. I personally do not care for onions. It almost seemed like it over powered the soup.

Wild Rice And Chicken Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2004
This soup is really rich. I kept having to add water to it when I reheated it, probably the rice. I probably won't make it again. Maybe try a recipe with less butter and less cream. Just a little too overwhelming.

Broccoli and Cauliflower Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2004
This was very good! I ate it for a couple days straight. Before it is baked it does make a great brocolli/cauliflower cheese soup. After you bake it the cheese flavor does intesify. For those complaining it is soupy..if you don't follow the portions ie. altering milk, cheese or ommitting rice may cause this. I prefered it without the crackers. They were soggy the next day.

Barbecue Beef Cups

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2004
I thought these were okay. My husband took one bite and wouldn't eat them. My daughter on the other hand seemed to enjoy them. She also enjoyed helping make them. I probably won't make them again though.
