Sweet and Sour Chicken I

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2015
I have to say that this recipe was the best I have ever had. I did add to this recipe tho, I did add more salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder and ground ginger to the batter ( to my taste). I cut up both green and red pepper and also added onion and and then I cut up 3/4 of a orange as well and added to this. For the sauce I not only used pineapple but I added orange juice from a orange and then cut up about 1/4 of the orange and added to the sauce and I added red food color instead of orange, I also had to add more cornstarch to this to make it thicker ( to your preference). Whomever wants to give this recipe lower then 5 stars just don't know what good food is! Just saying

Sturdy Whipped Cream Frosting

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2015
This recipe was fantastic! I did make a few changes tho and that was instead of regular cream cheese I done it with strawberry cream cheese and yum! I put about a tablespoon of vanilla and the 1/2 teaspoon of almond extract and for those of who are having issues with the firmness this is what I done which is what some viewers did as well. Make sure you wash out your METAL bowl and beaters and dry them and then stick them in th freezer for about 10 mins or longer, I also washed out another bowl and dried it and put in the freezer for about 10 mins and brought it out and beat my cream cheese until smooth and no lumps and then I stuck 1/2 cup of sugar at a time until you get 11/2 cups of sugar and then I stuck my vanilla and almond extract in and beat and when I got done doing that I put my bowl of cream cheese inside of another bowl full of hot water and mixed again to make sure of no lumps (it seems like alot of work but it's not) and when I got done doing that then I got my METAL bowl out and whipped out the heavy cream and then I folded the cream cheese in with the cream and it stayed firm and was very easy to pipe onto cupcakes and very good thank you for the recipe it's a for sure keeper

Country Apple Dumplings

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2014
I would have to say this recipe was AWESOME!!!! My family loves these and they have become one of our main desserts. I have done some extras on this recipe and it made it even better, After putting the apples inside the crescent rolls I then rolled them in cinnamon and sugar and instead of 1 1/2 cups of sugar I put 2 cups of sugar and then I added vanilla to the sugar and butter mixture after it was done boiling, trust me it just made this recipe so much better of course not saying it wasnt already good, I then whipped up some heavy whipping cream and put that on top after they was done baking, so much better then cool whip!!
