This recipe was fantastic!!! It was a golden color and came out nice and high in a 9 inch square pan...I used butter instead of oil.

Sweet Corn Muffins

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2009
I really liked these corn muffins. I used the 1 cup of sugar and made 14 muffins. I used a tin that was not non stick so I really had to grease the pan and still they were hard to remove. But these are really good corn muffins.

Waffles I

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2009
I made these waffles in my belgian Krups waffle maker and they were very good. I used crisco oil and maybe next time will use butter(melted). I might try them in a regular waffler maker instead of the belgian one...but I would highly recommend them.

Pizzelles III

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2013
it is a excellent recipe....i have been using this recipe for over 30 years. It depends on the pizelle maker also. I have 3 pizelle makers and always use this recipe. I never need to oil the maker. I mostly use vanilla. Tried choc chips once and they melted on the iron. thanks

Apple Bavarian Torte

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2011
I baked this last night in a pyrex glass pie plate and it stuck a little to the bottom....cream cheese layer was very flat but I guess this is different than the other autumn one on this site. Everyone liked it and I only used 2 granny smith apples which was enough apples....would probably make again and use the spring pan called for...thanks

Easy Granola Bars

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2011
I just took these out of the oven a hour ago....used parchment, not greased and they did not stick at all. Used a 9 x 13 pan..thought they would be too thin with the 10 x 15 pan. At first they were crumbly when i started to cut them but when I let them sit about 20 mins they firmed up and I was able to make squares easily. I should have cut the peanuts up and should have cut the cranberries (trader joes) up as alot of them kept falling out...otherwise the recipe is very good..thanks

Cinnamon Hazelnut Biscotti

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2004
I made this recipe about 3 times and they spread out too much while baking. I think next time I will only use 1/2 cup of butter or else add another 1/2 cup of flour...otherwise the smell and taste are good also used almonds instead of hazelnuts.

Chewy Cocoa Brownies

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2012
I made these twice already and really like them. I used a 7 x ll pan because I thought 9 x 13 would make them too thin. Very good recipe. Dont need to buy d. hines anymore. Usually keep the cocoa powder in the house. Try it.
