Pecan Crescents

I have been making these 30 or more years...family loves them. I dont use the salt and didnt find a difference in the cookie. Sometimes i use chopped walnuts. great!!!

Six Week Bran Muffins

I adjusted this recipe to 18 muffins and it came out terrible. It was too much liquid and white. Maybe because i used all bran. thanks for the recipe.

Janet's Rich Banana Bread

I made this bread last night and this morning ate about 3 pieces. I mashed the bananas well with a fork. I couldnt see leaving them in slices for the recipe. I thought it was delicious and would def. make it again. I used about 3/4 cup sugar. thanks for the recipe.

Chicken Marsala

I made this recipe twice and it was very good. The 2nd time I made it i used white wine. I used the whole pkg of mushrooms, 8 or 10 oz. After making it because we were not eating our dinner then I put them in a corning ware large dish. Both recipes were delicious. I didnt use the flour in the bag, I put it in a bowl and put the chicken in piece by piece to coat it with the oregano. thanks

Apple Crisp III

I made this twice and didnt care for it...sorry but it is too much butter or not enough flour. It didnt look like a crisp or taste like one. I would probably add more flour if i make it again.

Eggplant Parmesan II

I dont like dry eggplant.....If i dont fry, i put olive oil all over the sheet and then bake. I turn over and drizzle oil on the other side. This way you get some browning and crispness to the eggplant. Its like the old way of serving eggplant parm. Thanks

Stuffed Peppers

I liked this recipe alot. I cut the peppers in half and stuffed them in 1/2s in case someone didnt want a whole pepper. I covered tight with foil and baked them that way without blanching. thanks

Homemade Italian Sauce

I liked this sauce as i also use paste in my sauce. Otherwise it comes to thin. I dont use mushrooms but put meatballs in the sauce after i fry them and cook longer. thanks

I did not care for this recipe at all. I made alot of other ones on this site that were better. It seems like to much flour for 1/2 cup of oil....they were crumbly and dry. Sorry but thank you anyway for submitting the recipe.

Linguine with Clam Sauce

I made this recipe but sauteed the garlic first and added fresh flat leaf parsley chopped. I used 3 cans of chopped clams and the juice. It was delicious and of course the linguini.

Pizzelles III

it is a excellent recipe....i have been using this recipe for over 30 years. It depends on the pizelle maker also. I have 3 pizelle makers and always use this recipe. I never need to oil the maker. I mostly use vanilla. Tried choc chips once and they melted on the iron. thanks

Chocolate Cherry Biscotti

I make alot of biscotti recipes from this site. I made these but used cranberries instead of cherrys but that was preference. I cut the cranberries in half. I thought they were a little dry but very good. Maybe next time I will cut down on the flour a little so they wont be crumbly and a little dry. The taste was delicious with the mini chips and cranberries....thanx for the recipe

Sour Cream Coffee Cake III

I have made other sour cream cakes but sorry about a bad review on this one. Too much sugar, didnt bake at time suggested. Too crunchy topping....it was hard. Why put flour in a topping? We didnt enjoy this at all. sorry, but thanks anyway.

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

this is the second time i made this cheesecake, I used lite cream instead of milk....i also used a 10 inch pan, it was too much batter for a 9 inch pan....it was good but both times had small cracks in the top....didnt leave in oven that long after baking because it would have gotten too dark.....we like a lighter color on cheesecake

Chewy Cocoa Brownies

I made these twice already and really like them. I used a 7 x ll pan because I thought 9 x 13 would make them too thin. Very good recipe. Dont need to buy d. hines anymore. Usually keep the cocoa powder in the house. Try it.
