Chicken Noodle Casserole I

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2011
I do not understand the rave reviews for this recipe. Even with some "jazzy" modifications (peas, bell pepper, onion, garlic) it was so bland and boring, not to mention it takes way too long to prep. With all the condensed soup it just feels so unhealthy also. I wanted comfort food and I got filler food. I probably will not make this again.

The Best Chicken Fried Steak

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2010
Not bad but could use a bit more seasning! This was my first attempt at frying food, texture came out great. TIP: If you don't have a thermometer, scrunch up a piece of white bread into a 1" cube, toss it into the oil and when it takes about 60 secs to brown, then the oil is ready. I read that online, worked great for me, my steaks cooked in 4 min each.

Honey Mustard Grilled Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2009
Delicious base sauce, have made it several times. This time when i made it I put it on pork chops, and for fun I jazzed it up with a little salt, pepper, garlic powder, and a splash of lemon juice to tenderize the meat. I also added a tbspn of raspberry vinegar, gives it the perfect balance of sweet and tang. It is great as-is, but you can play with it too to suit your taste. Try dipping pretzels in it, tastes just like a great pretzel dip we get in well-known gift baskets each year at christmas!

Microwave Corn on the Cob

The greatest time saver since microwave mashed potatoes. Cooked fresh corn exactly as the recipes says, and it could not have come out more perfect. THANKS SO MUCH FOR THIS!

Penne with Spicy Vodka Tomato Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2007
This was wonderful. What I love is that we generaly have 90% of these ingredients on hand, we just needed to buy the whipping cream, and the recipe doesn't even need the sausage if you don't have any (although i'm sure it's terrific with it). My husband was craving a dish from one of our favorite restaurants, and this was almost a perfect match. This might be the first thing he's cooked on his own and it turned out great...so who knows, maybe he'll surprise me more often!! Thanks for the recipe, will be a keeper in my house.

Chocolate Eclair Dessert

Made this over the weekend for a BBQ, so easy and tasty. Then I found out it was a coworker's birthday today, so I brought the ingredients I had left over and made a half-batch AT WORK this morning! Looks and tastes like I slaved. :D Thanks for the recipe, will make again and again!

Spicy Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2006
Just made these and they were awesome (reduced cumin and salt like reviewers suggested, otherwise no changes). Hubby said to give 5 stars! You MUST try with a little lowfat shredded cheese and some BBQ sauce...wow. Fan-tas-tic. Will have again for sure, thanks for the keeper!

Cottage Cheese Chicken Enchiladas

Ever since I started making these I hear "When are you making those enchilada's again?!" These are now a staple in our house. Can use low fat ingredients and they're just as good.
