Chocolate Clusters

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2006
Easy and yummy. The kids loved them. They got soft out of the fridge, so I kept them in there until we were ready to eat them.

Beefy Spanish Rice

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2006
I followed recipe directions except, omitted water, and replaced it with an undrained can of diced tomatoes w/ chile peppers and one can of undrained black beans. Also, I did not drain my corn. There were no issues with water, it turned out excellent.

Jalapeno Corn Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2006
I used a loaf pan instead of muffins, and baked for 15 minutes. The batter was very thick, and the result was a very dense bread with alot of 'pepper' flavor. When it was done baking, I sprinkled about 1/4 cup of cheddar cheese on top then popped it back in the oven until melted.

Basic Ham and Bean Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2006
I omitted the salt and used 3 cans of low sodium chicken broth and 1 can of veggie broth and a half a can of water. I followed all other instructions as directed, and it turned out quite good. I did not think it was watery, there was some broth, but not too much, and it is soup after all.

Bar-B-Q

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2006
This was a great recipe. I omitted the extra water, and used an undrained 10oz can of diced tomatoes instead. Also, I didn't have canned onion soup, so I made up 1/2 a pack of onion soup mix, using half the correct amount of water, so it would be concentrated. Myself and the kids loved it, husband thought is was way too sweet, thus the 4 stars. I took a picture and submitted it, so that's what it looks like with the tomatoes.

Ham Salad II

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2006
I omitted salt and didn't have any green pepper. I used half miracle whip and half mayo, and I didn't measure them, I just put in a little, mixed, then added a little more until it was the consistancy I like.

Skillet Ham, Cabbage and Potatoes

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2006
I used one can chicken broth instead of water, and replaced season salt with salt free seasoning (figured the ham and broth would add plenty of salt). It was quite good, we'll make this again.

Puppy Chow

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2006
Great Recipe. Based on another users complaint that it was too peanutty, I made the recipe through step 2, then divided the coated ceareal between two bags. I added half of the powdered sugar to each bag, then added about a half a cup of cocoa powder into one. Three of us loved it without the cocoa, and the other three (the non-peanut butter lovers) loved it with the cocoa.

Peach Angel Food Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2005
This was a perfect recipe to make for our new neighbors. A cake was in order, but after all of the heavy sweetness of the holidays, I wanted something light and yummy. I made two loaf pans so I could taste test it before giving as a gift. I took a picture and submitted it, so hopefully, you can see what it looks like soon. =)

Primavera Noodles

Omitted mushrooms, otherwise, followed recipe as directed and served hot. 5 stars for easy preparation, 4 for taste (not exactly gourmet, but still quite yummy.)

White Chocolate Covered Pretzels

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2005
I doubled the recipe and then followed another users idea of adding a little margarine. I put the dish on the table and gave each of my 4 kids some pretzels, wax paper, and a chopstick for removing the pretzels, then let them go to work. It was a great time for all, we enjoyed eating the treats and giving them as gifts, and we've decided to adopt this as a new Christmas tradition. =)

This is good for a white chocolate lover. (Which I'm not, I just made it to add to Christmas gift plates.)

Ham and Pineapple Dinner

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2005
This was an excellent meal. I served over white rice, and added in some frozen bell peppers with the onions. (I just used yellow onions, so the pepper added nice color also.) I think I'd like to try it with chicken also. =)

Very good recipe. Would work great on beef steaks also, especially if you are using a tougher cut that needs to be tenderized.

Herb Roasted Potatoes

I added a little extra dill, thought it would go even better with my fish. Won't do that again, but they were still excellent.

Gaye's Microwave Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2005
I was out of milk, so I used evaporated instead, also, I only used half the vanilla. It turned out excellent. Next time I will sift the cocoa and sugar though. ** I made this a 2nd time, except I used peppermint extract instead of vanilla. It tasted like girl scout cookies without the cookie. =)

Army SOS Creamed Ground Beef

I used Budding Sandwich Meat (Beef) as this was what my mother always used. I omitted salt, figured the lunchmeat and boullion would have enough. Great Recipe.
