Butter Snow Flakes

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2010
I didn't change a thing in this recipe and the cookies turned out fantastic! The dough worked well in the press too - no sticking or clumping.

Carrots in Dill Butter

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2006
This is such an easy recipe! I use whatever baby carrots we have left in the fridge and dill weed instead of seed. I also found that there was a lot of liquid left in the pot, but it didn't affect the taste or flavor at all. This recipe goes well with seafood and rice.

Chocolate Turtle Cheesecake I

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2005
I didn't read the recipe correctly--I only used 7 oz of caramels, and it still came out delicious! I also used half regular and half low-fat cream cheese. This recipe wasn't as much work as it seemed it would be, and it was definitely worth the effort...and the calories!

Cinnamon Bread I

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2005
Another easy favorite of mine. Basically, just dump, mix and bake! Make sure that you sprinkle the topping very thinly over the top of the batter, or else you'll get big clumps of goo in the middle of the bread. Also, buttermilk works best in this recipe, rather than the vinegar/milk substitute.

Golden Lemon Pound Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2005
I used extra lemon zest, about 2 tbsp total. My friends and I were pretty happy with the results. The glaze was the best, tangy and not too sweet.

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2005
This is one of my favorite holiday recipes. It's so easy, and I always get a lot of compliments for it. I usually have enough batter to make 2 large and 3 small loaf pans.
