About this Cook
Mother , wife, and family gal. I love to cook for people. I hate cooking just for me.... The more the better! I'm a real planner, but the most successful dinners are on the fly. I'm not a good baker at all because it requires precise measuring, timing and preparation . I love savoury and sour rather than sweet, don't like fish or eat much beef unless I know where and what it's been raised on, I avoid most gluten products and GMI food. But a little won't kill me ;) I love a great martini and hate Champagne. Red wine with everything.
My favorite things to cook
Anything Charcoal BBQ.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Big family gatherings like holiday dinners- brunch or luncheons- not so much. I love to BBQ in the winter at the cottage, and friends and family love the summer time treat in -20 temps. New Years Eve and Family Day in Feburary are EPIC fun, enjoying the snow, cold and BBQ with fresh Lake Bass.
My cooking triumphs
Wedding at the lake for 125 Feeding the homeless great meals for 10 years Oscar Dinners and Grammy Nights
My cooking tragedies
Left the Roast beef resting with 2dogs in the kitchen. BBQ butterflied leg of lamp. 3 hours on the kettle BBQ was about 2 hours 2 long. More Sugar and Butter in a graham cracker pie crust just makes the crust turn into candy.more is NOT better.

Easy and Elegant Pork Tenderloin
This was fantastic- and so Fancy for a school night;) I did not have bread crumbs, only Chicken Shake N Bake. Worked out crazy good! Served with stuffed tomatoes and steamed carrots. It's going on the repeat list!
