Becel® Orange Glazed Carrots

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2012
Add a pinch of ginger powder and 1 tbsp of brown sugar in place of the white. We always have this at our Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners! Never used mint...and probably wouldn't.

Mango Papaya Salsa

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2012
Doubled the recipe, made more sense to me rather than halving or quartering. Used 1 whole red pepper. Keeped well in the fridge (used a glass jar) for a couple days...nice Salsa! Will add lime zest and an extra mango next time.

These were fantastic after adding a bit of wochesire sauce...just a few dashes and it gave it a really nice added zing...otherwise, did everything exactly as is.

Delicious Egg Salad for Sandwiches

I found that adding just a pinch of celery seed and a teaspoon of fresh dill really made this even better...keep fresh dill frozen in a ziplock bag for quick recipes like this...very good!

Delicious! This was devoured at the dinner table and I've been asked to make it anytime...I just excluded the mint as my family dosen't care for it. Looking forward to trying this with chicken wrapped in a pita!

Mouth-Watering Stuffed Mushrooms

I added a can of crab and a dash of worchestershire and lime juice...great flavor! I may cut down on the cream cheese next time as I had a lot of filling left over.

this was really good...my family enjoyed it...I did add some garlic powder and pepper to taste, and also a splash of worchestersire sauce...great on a soft croissant with some butter lettuce and mustard...delish!~~update: I've since used lean ham cut into small cubes in place of the bacon, and used a 1/4 cup light sour cream and a 1/4 cup light mayonnaise to make this a healthier meal...just as tasty too!

Buffalo Chicken Chili

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2010
This was perfect! Picky hubby raved about it all night...quick, healthy and tastey...can't get much better than that! One tip...simmered with the lid off as our preferance for chilli is for it to be thicker...wouldn't change a thing!

Perfect Turkey

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2009
Wonderful!...I made just a few slight changes...I had to fry/steam my veggies a bit in the end, as the carrots didn't cook all the way through in the turkey...I will par boil the carrots next time. I also added a little more of all the veggies and put everything inside the turkey (instead of some inside ands some outside)...didn't want the veggies to be to salty...also I suggest adding water and extra thyme to the wine in the pan...makes for an amazing gravy...excellant recipe... a definate keeper!

BBQ Glazed Homemade Meatballs

These were great! Excellant glaze...I used less brown sugar in the glaze and dry bread crumbs in place of the oats in the meat balls (just a personal preference). Served with a whole grain rice and Ceaser salad.

Aunt Edith's Baked Pancake

Nice texture...very light...I think beating the egg mixture till it's thin is very important in getting that "fluffiness" effect. Great recipe!
