No-Frying Eggplant Parmesan

Great recipe. This was my first attempt at Eggplant Parmesan and it turned out great. I only used 1 small eggplant and half bottle of sauce, and only made one layer. I also added sliced tomato on top of pre-cooked eggplant and cooked all together. Will definitely make again.

Beer Bread I

Amazing! I added 1/3 cup sugar and cinnamon to the batter, poured melted butter on top before baking, as suggested, baked 45minutes at 375*, then poured more melted butter on top after baking and sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon!!! Great breakfast bread, as sooo easy!!!

Smoked Sausage Cups

I made these on Saturday and they were delicious! I made a couple of changes. I used Big and Flaky Crescent rolls and cookie cut them into circles, (no need for the flour!) I also cooked the sausage with the marmalade and mustard first on the stove and let it cool before finishing off the recipe as directed in the oven. I also added shredded mozzerrella cheese on top... My aunt happened to make the same thing that night, but she used cajun sausage, and grape jelly... It was delicious as well!!! Definately a keeper!

Mom's Best Peanut Brittle

AMAZING!!! Great taste, great texture. The first batch I made, I followed the recipe word for word, and it turned out great. The second batch I substituted the water for KAHLUA, and it turned out great as well.... definately a keeper...

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Great recipe!! I use Texas Pete Buffalo Wing Sauce,and leave out the cheddar cheese, doesn't need it really.... Serve with Fritos Scoops, its always a big hit!

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

DELICIOUS, I added chocolate chips...However, three pans were not enough!!! My bread ran over the sides and didn't bake in the middle, so i had to add about 30-40 more minutes baking time... the taste was amazing, but it didn't look very good... my husband wouldn't eat it, so i ate one of the loaves myself!!!

Emily's Easy Sausage and Spicy Tomato Dip

Great base recipe... I modified it a bit... I added green onion, bell pepper and garlic while cooking the sausage. I used only one 8oz. cream cheese, and added about 1/2 cup sour cream and about 1/4 cup parmesan cheese... I threw in some jalapenos from a jar, and I used the "chili fixin" rotel...It was AMAZING!!! I brought home an empty dish!!!

Chocolate Rum Balls I

I made these last christmas, and the rum was way overpowering (but still good!). So this weekend I substituted the rum for KAHLUA and the walnuts for ALMONDS.... DELICIOUS!!!!!

very good... my son wanted me to make some after tasting the tastefully simple bread.... he said mine was real good, but needed to add some more cinnamon and sugar.... will make again, maybe next time with chocolate chips!!!

Pork Chops with Blue Cheese Gravy

This recipe is really good.... I did as another reviewer suggested and cooked some bacon, fried the pork chops in the bacon grease with a bit of butter, and then added the bacon pieces into the gravy... Definately restaurant quality.... I served with boiled red potatoes and garlic bread....

Richard and Suzanne's Louisiana Crawfish Pasta

with this recipe i add the following: Tony's Creole Seasoning.. bunch of Asparagus.. bunch of Spinach.. saute with the onion AND green onion AND garlic... then add SHRIMP and Crawfish.. then add about 1/2 cup - 1 cup Parmesan cheese.. Heat to a boil.. Then 1 - 2 pints heavy whipping cream.... stir until boiling...then add to pasta.... I also used Fettucini in place of bow tie.... its a great recipe.... even better the next day....

Fabulous Fajitas

This recipe is way better than using the dry fajita seasoning... My husband loves them!!! i also add garlic, tony's creole seasoning, and red pepper flakes...making tonight for supper as a matter of fact!

Thai Peanut Butter Sauce

this sauce is soooo good.... i stirred it in with some cooked spaghetti noodles, added a bit more water and minced garlic and red pepper flakes instead of cayenne pepper...which made the sauce a bit thinner... my husband thought it was too rich, but really liked the flavor.... i will definately make again!!!

Praline Sweet Potatoes
