White Chocolate Snack Mix

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2004
Made this for a company function, everybody went back for seconds and thirds, people who don't even like white chocolate went back for seconds. I put a little orange colored vanilla chocolate in to give a little fall color. Great recipe, thanks for sharing.

Frogmore Stew

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2005
I haven't tried this one, but it's very similar to the Old Bay Shrimp Fest on this website - which everyone goes crazy over when I have it, nice all in one meal - all in one pot w/ your meat, potatoes and veggies. I add king crab legs to the end.

Artichoke and Roasted Red Pepper Dip

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2005
Excellent. I used a jar of roasted red peppers w/ garlic cloves and used red onion instead of the leek. Took it to a party and it got great reviews. Also good w/ tortilla chips. Will definitely make again.

Best Carrot Cake Ever

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2005
This was my first carrot cake I've ever made. Someone at work had requested it for her birthday and I warned her it was my first. I don't eat cake but everyone loved it. Used a cream cheese frosting. Have already made it 2 more times. Thanks.

Southwestern Black Bean Stew

It was delicious. I served it w/ tortilla chips and used it as more of a "heavy" appetizer. It wasn't pretty but it got rave reviews from my guests. Thanks for the recipe.

Slow Cooker Stuffing

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2004
Excellent, makes a lot but it's gone fast. Love that you can make it early and just put it in the crockpot & let it go, nice & warm when serving, also fits perfect in a 5QT crock pot. I also shared this recipe w/ a co-worker who is a cook but has never made good stuffing - she made it Thanksgiving & it was a huge success, she is so happy that she can finally make good stuffing. Thanks so much for sharing.

Chicken Fiesta Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2005
I made this last night - it was very very good. I even had to alter it, using taco seasoning (instead of fajita seasoning), can corn (instead of mexican style) and diced can tomatoes w/ green chiles (instead of salsa)and I used light ranch dressing - hey it was a last minute decision so I improvised AND it was still DELICIOUS !

Restaurant-Style Hashbrown Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2004
I made it for a birthday party at work. Everyone raved about it. I thought it was a little too soupy - I like my hashbrowns crispy, but don't go by me, go by the 10 people that asked for the recipe. I used fresh potatoes, because I am a glutten for punishment, and made it the night before and cooked it in the morning.

Wonderful. I made it using the microwave and just kept cooking and stirring until the shrimp were done. I did add a little more hot sauce. Excellent dish. Thanks.

Old Bay® Shrimp Fest

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2004
Wonderful. I think it should be a 16 quart pot. I added king crab legs to the top for a few minutes and when I dumped the pot the juice was enough to warm them up. I love that it's all in one pot and all food groups (meat, starch and vegetables). All my guests have asked for the recipe. Uum Uum Good !

My first cheesecake I every made. I didn't have canned pumpkin so I used the canned pumpkin pie mix. Brought it into work - everyone LOVED it. One person doesn't like cheesecake - he is now converted, he had 2 slices. One person didn't like pumpkin - she is now converted, had a full slice. Two made the comment it was orgasmic - what more can I say. Thanks for sharing the recipe.

Autumn Cheesecake

Excellent cheesecake. The first time I made it I thought the apples would be in the cheesecake, so when it was finished and they were on top, I was a little worried, but after the many many requests for the recipe my worries were gone.

Iced Coffee

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2005
I have this every day before work. I have the bullet and blend up a cup at a time - take less than 5 minutes to prepare, save me money and time stopping at Dunkin Donuts. I don't use the chocolate syrup - I'm the minority by not liking chocolate much and it is still wonderful. Thanks for the recipe.
