Creamy Chicken Bake

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2011
Great dish! I used 98% fat-free broccoli cheese soup, and made sure to season the chicken breasts thoroughly. We will certainly have this dish again!

Chocolate Bar Fondue

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2011
Great recipe! I used 2 bags milk chocolate chips and 2 bags semi-sweet and omitted the coffee granules. I did add the water that others omitted because the fondue seemed too thick to me. I kept it warm in a crock pot and got rave reviews!

Pasta e Fagioli II

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2011
Delicious recipe! I didn't have prosciutto on hand, so I used lean ground beef instead. It turned out very good and made A LOT of soup! I kept the pasta separte from the soup to keep it from getting soggy. We'll make this one again.

Jagerschnitzel

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2011
Great recipe! I served it with fries as recommended, but I think next time i'll serve noodles because the gravy reminded me of stroganoff. We'll definitely make this one again!

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: May 25, 2010
Great, easy meal. I used catfish because that's what I had on hand. I'm eager to try it with tilapia next time. Loved the sauce, too...perfect complement to the fish.

Vanilla Ice Cream V

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2009
This was good, but after it froze in my freezer overnight it turned very icy. I assume that's because the recipe doesn't include eggs. Otherwise, it was good. I also used some of the other reviewer's suggestion to use vanilla creamer instead of the heavy cream - good addition, and it added a nice flavor. We'll make this again, I'm sure, but I'm still going to keep looking for other recipes.

Thai Chicken Satay

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2009
This was very good, and a great introduction to homemade thai cooking. My picky son even liked it because it had peanut sauce to dip it in! I omitted the cilantro and peanuts, but that was because I didn't have them on hand in the house. thanks for sharing!

Marinated Cheese

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2008
This recipe is awesome! I've made it a few times for friends and family and it's always a hit! It's best to make the recipe the night before but be sure to use it the next day, because it doesn't keep well past the next day (the cream cheese turns to liquid).

Blackberry Cobbler

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2008
I thought the cobbler wasn't as sweet as I expected, and I didn't care for the blobs of dough because they didn't cook all the way through, and were quite flavorless. If I make it again, I'll increase the sugar a bit in the cobbler, use smaller spoonfuls of dough to cover the top, and top with some turbinado sugar and cinnamon.

Sweet and Sour Pork Patties

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2008
This was pretty good, and something we'll definitely try again. The flavor of the pork patties was milder than I expected; I think that next time I'll add some of the ingredients others have suggested like ground ginger and five-spice. The texture reminded me of meatloaf, which I didn't expect, either. Overall, this is a good recipe.

Cha Cha's White Chicken Chili

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2004
This recipe was awesome! My family loved it,and so did my co-workers. I didn't use the jalepenos and not quite as much of the green chiles as the recipe called for. Also, I added 1 can creamed corn and 1 can yellow corn for a different twist. Such an easy and tasty meal. I made a triple batch and it served many more than 12. I would've liked it to be thicker, though, so I think next time I'll either not put in as much broth or add a little flour to thicken it.
