Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Very good, and not hard at all. Used soy milk. Turned out great. Did not have celery, used thyme about a tsp. Will make again!.

I followed all the instructions except did not add the meat tenderizer. Marinated deer steaks for 6 hours, this was amazing! So tender and great taste. Was leery about the mustard (yuk) but the flavors blend nicely and again tender! Will look no further for a marinade. Thanks for sharing!!

White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake

The taste was perfect! Followed all the directions, but the crust, I used 2 oreo premade crusts which the recipe was perfect for. I read the reviews after I went to the store, so we had to do the frozen raspberry from the recipe. Next time I will do as another reviewer did and swirl the raspberry after each 3 tablespoons, so the swirls go all the way through. Followed others advice and placed pies in a cookie sheet with water. Had to remove them from the oven right away and placed them in the refridgerator as soon as they cooled to touch, as I didn't read that they should have been made early, and needed them in a couple of hours. Neither pie cracked. It is going to be made in this house again, as the taste is great and is not dificult to make.

Frog Eye Salad

Made this for a graduation party, the box didn't have the recipe like it used to so came to this trustworthy site and used your recipe minus coconut, only because don't care for it. This was a hit. Actually more liked then the one I usually made from the box. So thanks for the help!

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

This was ok, would probably like better on icecream, or in a smoothie. but on the chips this one did not make it at the graduation party, the few that tried it didn't care for it, one thought it would be ok on pancakes.

Barbecued Beef

Made these for my daughters graduation. Used deer roasts, lots of them, had a large cooker full and there was absolutly NONE left over to our dismay. Even those who wouldn't touch deer did because of all the raving. This is definantly a keeper. Only change was I had no mustard, otherwise followed the recipe. Thank you!! Would rate higher if I could.

Rhubarb Dream Bars

These were liked by even the rhubarb haters in my house which was everyone but me. And a guest we had for dinner said they were just like his mom makes, so he loved them. I thought they were ok, would make again for family, but for me I am going to keep looking for the perfect bar/cake.

Broccoli Rice Casserole

This was pretty good, will make again, do recommend getting it eaten quickly, as it doesn't keep really well as it dried up. And it does make quite a bit. Will make again but cut in half.

Quick Biscuits

rated 5 for simplicity, can't get much easier, did have to add more cream. Also dropped them instead of rolling out. I agree with the post about these would be wonderful for strawberry shortcake. Would probably add a little sugar next time too, or use the honey like another post to sweeten them a bit.

Red Skinned Potato Salad

This was my first attempt at making potato salad and it was wonderful, it tasted like I remember potato salad before all the stuff that gets added in. Did not have any bacon, and was short 1/2 c salad dressing, so added real mayo.It is now something I will make again. Thank you.

Salted Nut Squares

These taste just like the candy bar. Yum, especially when it is summer. I followed the directions up to melting the peanut butter chips, but had to keep on the heat or else the marshmallows didn't melt so cooked at medium heat stirring constantly all ingredients except the peanuts. Which I doubled those too. This is easy and worth making again.

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

This recipe is perfect! Delicious, easy and quick! Wouldn't change a thing. We have this at least one time a week. I hate parmesaen cheese, but this is wonderful!!

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

These were a great chewy cookie. Didn't have chocolate chips used carmel chocolate chips, very yummy and rich. Even my husband who isn't crazy about sweets was disappointed when they ran out, which took a few days as even with a bunch of teenagers hanging around munching they lasted as they made about 4 dozen cookies and like I stated they are rich, maybe from the chips I used.
