Great recipe. And yes drain and rinse. I couldn't believe how much water comes out of those sucker! And yes you do need a very large bowl or tub. That's a lot of slices!

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2014
I also agree the brown sugar needs to go on top. I know its not the same but I made a few other changes. I used buttery round crackers and mixed in 3/4 pint of homemade pasta sauce. Also I recommend using a disposable pan. The brown sugar baked in is hard to clean.

Sausage Balls

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2014
Very good! I doubled the recipe. I had about 2 1/2 lbs of homemade sausage. I used 2 bags of Bizquik Biscuit mix. About 2 1/2 cups. But that was too much.I wound up taking some out because I just couldn't see it needing that much. Maybe cutting back on it stopped them from being so dry? My second batch I mixed in some cooked diced bacon! WOW is that ever good! The biscuit mix I took out I made sausage biscuits with that, Little bits of sausage in it. Pretty good also.

Grandma's Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2013
Signed up just so I could review this. Excellent!! The only changes I made was I added some diced bacon, Yum! I also caramelized the onions. mixed it up in a crock pot to save the oven space at my moms where I took it for Thanksgiving. I should have bought another can because it was gone so fast. The one problem I had was the hot butter and the flour didn't get along to well. Instant goop! Next time I will try skipping the flour .
