Make-Ahead Turkey Gravy

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2012
I have NEVER had a more tasteful and delicious Thanksgiving turkey dinner because of this AMAZING gravy recipe!!!! Added all my 'day of' drippings, and I am still in awe... everyone raved about it and the fact that I made it the day before was just brilliant! Thank you so much!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2006
WOW! These are the best muffins I have ever made! I listened to other people's reviews. I 1/2'd the crumb topping, added 1/2C more blueberries, and added 1tsp of vanilla. Awesome! THEN- I used the same recipe except used bananas instead. They STILL were AWESOME! I used 2 large ripe bananas. Try it!

Cream Corn Like No Other

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2006
I used cornstarch in place of flour and omitted the heavy cream and just used more milk. I also didn't use the parm cheese..(personal preference) My son gave it a thumbs up and can't wait for me to make it again!

Chicken Murphy II

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2004
Although I changed the recipe a bit, the recipe was loved by all family members! I omitted the jalapenos, green peppers and used sundried tomato sausage in place of the hot Italian. Wow! Easy dish to modify and a GREAT starting point to a meal.

I LOVE this recipe!!!! I will definitely make it again, but would like to add some navy beans and perhaps use escarole in place of the kale. Delicious!!!

Tangy Slow Cooker Pork Roast

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2012
I didn't have a roast handy, but did have some country style boneless pork ribs. So I used those. Fabulous and EASY !!!! I read the other reviews, and did use more hot sauce, but I kept all other ingredients pretty much to the recipe. I would add more pepper and garlic powder next time as we like a little more flavor. When it was done, I shredded it and will serve it as pulled pork sandwiches. !!!! Definitely will use this again as a nice departure from traditional BBQ pulled pork.

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2010
Oh my goodness! This is a WONDERFUL recipe! I was looking for a chili....and this was a little thin as it is intended to be a soup. So, I just scooped out about a 1/2 cup of the liquid, added a bit of cornstarch to the liquid, stirred it up until it was thin. Added it back to the soup and WOW !!!! Instant hit with my kids. No other alterations necessary~ I'm making a double batch next time!

Bread Pudding with Whiskey Sauce III

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2008
I add about 1/2 more of the 'custard' to the bread. It makes it less dry. Wonderful recipe!
