Raspberry Lemon Muffins

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2006
These were okay - my husband didn't love them. They were sweet but nothing special.

Lentil Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2006
Good, but not super tasty. I opted to not add the spinach b/c I didn't have any on hand, but maybe the spinach is the kicker for this recipe!

Black Bean, Barley and Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2006
Delicious! I did reduce the chili powder to 1/2 Tbls. to suit my family's tastes. Goes great with thick, hearty bread for dipping.

California Chicken Stir Fry

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2006
So yummy. I omitted the sugar and didn't miss it. I used fresh broccoli, green pepper, carrots and minced onion in place of the frozen veggies. I served it over brown rice and my husband and 18-month-old loved it!

Oatmeal Whole Wheat Quick Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2005
This delicious bread is both hearty and healthy. It's also very easy and quick to make. My 17-month-old son ate about half the loaf in a day. It's perfect with honey on top. A new favorite at our house!

Apple Pie I

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2004
Simply scrumptious. I read through alot of the reviews before I made it and made note of several alterations, which all added to the deliciousness of this pie. The alterations I made were: adding 2 T. flour and 1/2 tsp. nutmeg to the cinnamon and sugar mixture, sprinkling the apples with 1 T. lemon juice, and dotting the top crust with butter, cinnamon and sugar. My family raved! I'll definitely make this again.

Cornbread Stuffing With Sausage

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2004
I followed the advice of another and used only cornbread and it ended up tasting a bit sweet, not what I'm used to with stuffing. Other than that, it was delicious.
