Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2005
This was alright. The sauce has a nice flavor, and altogether this was a good dish, although it wasn't that interesting. I think I'll make it again.

Salmon Avocado Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2005
This was a great salad. It had a great taste, I really liked how the avocado complemented the other ingredients. With my changes it was a bit different from the original recipe - I omitted cilantro and jalapeno (I didn't have them) and instead of adding feta and a vinegar sauce, I added a honey dijon sauce (1 part butter, 1 part dijon mustard and 2 parts honey - like what is used for the baked dijon salmon recipe on this site). It was fantastic like this!

General Tsao's Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2005
This was good. The chicken had a good taste to it, but it didn't taste like the general tsao chicken I've had at restaurants - more like chicken teriyaki. (I'm not sure if I did something wrong?). One thing - to make the presentation nicer save some of the slices of the green part of the green onion, and put them on the chicken when you serve it.

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: May 31, 2005
Great Recipe! It's a great tasting teriyaki sauce, although a bit sweeter than what I'm used to. I took some other peoples advice and marinated the chicken in the sauce for a couple hours. It was delicious! i also didn't need to cook it as long as stated, the cook time for me was 30 min. I ate it with sauteed mushrooms and rice.

Creamy Pesto Shrimp

Reviewed: May 20, 2005
This was an easy recipe, and tasted good, but I didn't find it to be as flavorful as I would have hoped. Maybe next time I'll fry the shrimp a bit before I boil them, it might help to bring out their flavor.

Lemon Mushroom Herb Chicken

Reviewed: May 19, 2005
This recipe was just ok for me. It smelled so good when I was cooking it! But unfortunately the taste after it was finished wasn't the same.. I don't know if I'll make it again.

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: May 14, 2005
This lasagna was excellent! I loved the mixture of the different meats, it was great comfort food, perfect for a cold night in. The only changes I made were using oven-ready lasagna noodles, previous postings mentioned that they turned out too dry so I sprinkled water on them. I was also trying to get rid of some extra provolone cheese, and its taste went well with the others. I'll definately make this again!

Goat Cheese and Arugula over Penne

Reviewed: May 6, 2005
This was great, especially for the summer! The only changes I made were to make the mixture the night before and let it marinate (so that the flavors could combine more) and I used spinach (I couldn't find argula).

Shrimp Linguine Alfredo

Reviewed: May 2, 2005
This was great! I made it for my boyfriend and he also loved it. I made a couple changes, I was trying to get rid of some bottled alfredo sauce so i poured it in instead of the half and half, and I added some fine herbs and basil.

These cookies are great. Not extraordinary though. Perhaps I have been spoilt by all the other great cookies on this website...

These cookies are so great! I have made them many times. They are really chewy and tasty. I have also tried different kinds of pudding - chocolate also works very well and gives it a different taste.

Baked Dijon Salmon

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2004
this recipe was fantastic - very tasty. i took the advice of some of the other members and put foil in the baking pan, added a bit more honey to the marinade, marinated the salmon for about 30 minutes beforehand, and made some extra marinade which i heated up as a sauce. i didn't have parsely or pecans so i just used breadcrumbs and parmesan - the parmesan gave it a nice taste.
