Sweet and Spicy Marinade for Steak

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2015
I didn't have any of the liquid smoke stuff so I left it out. And instead of minced onion ( since I didn't have that) I used onion powder. GREAT marinade! I love it because it is so quick and easy to make. It also tastes great!! It was a winner with my hubby. We've used this several times now on different kinds of steak as well as kabobs. All turned out delicious!

Bacon Wrapped Bratwurst

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2015
These turned out great! I used a bottle of beer I had on hand since I didn't have any cans. I figured beer is beer and it was for flavor anyway. Yummy!! My hubby liked them too. Will definitely make them again.

Easy Tasty Ham Steaks with Maple Glaze For 2

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2015
This was the first time I made a ham steak for my hubby and I. This was a super easy recipe and super easy to make. The glaze was delicious, I thickened it with a little some corn starch. I served the ham steak with mashed potatoes and corn and pineapple slices for the ham. It was soooo good. I will definitely be making this again.

Banana Bars

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2014
Needed a recipe to use up ripe bananas I had but that didn't use eggs. This did the trick! I skipped the frosting and made a coffee cake streusel topping for the top instead. Delicious!

Emergency Chicken

This was SUPER easy and delicious! My hubby and I both liked the taste. I loved how easy it was to throw together after a long day at work. I did cube up the chicken into bite sized pieces before cooking. Made for easy eating. We served it with rice and green beans.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2014
These are definitely soft cookies. Not crunchy at all which is how mine usually turn out. I wouldn't call them cakey like some other reviewers mentioned but they are definitely a thicker, moister cookie. I had one box of chocolate pudding and one box of vanilla pudding on hand. I figured adding chocolate pudding would make them chocolatier, which it did. Next time I make these I will try with two vanilla pudding mixes instead. My husband liked them but since they were basically double chocolate (because of my one chocolate pudding mix) they weren't his favorite that I've made. I didn't make any other changes aside from the pudding mixes I added. I used my hand mixer to cream the sugar, brown sugar and butter. I made sure each step was blended really well before adding the next ingredients. All in all, I thought they were pretty tasty and easy to make.
