Fluffy French Toast

It's not JUST french toast, its PERFECT french toast. Be sure to use thick Texas toast like the recipe suggests.

Raisin and Spice Brown Rice

I did follow this recipe as written, but for all the spices and ingredients added, i thought it would have had more WOW to the taste. It definitely wasn't bad; better than PLAIN brown rice for sure- but not different or interesting enough to make again.

Fruit Salad

this is a very simple, and delicious recipe. I also eat it every Thanksgiving. You can add coconut, but it's great just like this.

Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus

I gave this recipe a try on Thanksgiving and it was liked by some, but not all. Wrapping the asparagus with the prosciutto was a little tuff at first, but once you get the hang of it, the time goes by a little faster. (if you use deli prosciutto, the slices are thinner so it will be a little harder) One thing about the recipe that i didn't agree with, was the cook time and heat. 15min. in 450 degrees will dry out the prosciutto and less time will leave the asparagus raw. I will give this recipe a try again, but will try to cook the asparagus first so i don't have to leave the wraps in the oven too long. All in all, I thought it was a pretty good recipe.

Again for Thanksgiving this year. The filling seems runny, but comes out perfect. It baked great and tasted even better! EASY and tasty recipe.

Stuffed Mushrooms Casino

These stuffed mushrooms were a hit on Thanksgiving! I might have used too much butter, because they seemed a bit greasy. Also, try using unsalted butter, or less bacon for this recipe as it did come out a little too salty for my taste, BUT there were NO leftovers!!

Shredded Brussels Sprouts

I've never made brussels sprouts before, but this recipe was totally easy and yummy! I did skip adding the pine nuts(as they are not my fave), and only cut the sprouts in halves. Also, I added bread crumbs to the topping of bacon. I served this dish for Thanksgiving, and EVERYONE LOVED 'em.
