Orange Cranberry Biscotti

Delicious biscotti!!! I didn't add almonds but instead used 2 cups of dried cranberries. I added an extra tablespoon of orange zest and used 2 tablespoons of freshly squeezed orange juice. I also drizzled chocolate over them after they cooled completely. WOW. These are soooo good!

Chocolate Cavity Maker Cake

This is the best chocolate cake I've ever made. I made it for a 40th birthday party for our neighbor and the guests went for my cake before the sheet cake that was ordered. The cake was devoured in minutes. Everyone RAVED about it. Powdered sugar on top makes it look picture-perfect. I've used Kahlua coffee liqueur, Godiva chocolate liqueur, and Frangelico Hazelnut liqueur and all have made the cake delicious. I would give this cake 100+ stars if I could!

Grandma Ople's Apple Pie

This is the best apple pie recipe. Look no further! I tossed the apples (8 granny smith apples) in 2 tsps of cinnamon before pouring it into the crust. If you are using a full top crust, I would also pour the syrup directly onto the apples before covering with the top crust. Coat the top crust with an egg wash and pour some of the reserved syrup into the cuts of the crust. It will give it a nice crunchy top crust. I will make this over and over! Thank you for sharing this recipe. It's awesome.

Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

Delicious recipe! Very moist muffins. I changed recipe slightly. I used 1 cup of white flour and 3/4 cup of whole wheat flour and added 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon.

Peanut Butter Chip Chocolate Cookies

I made 4 different cookies for Christmas for our friends, family and neighbors and this cookie was by far the best. It was the first to be gone. It is a favorite and will be a regular in my cookie line-up!

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

THESE SUGAR COOKIES ARE GREAT!!! I highly recommend this recipe. I added 1 teaspoon of pure hazelnut extract (you can add any other flavor, such as lemon). I probably would add another teaspoon of the vanilla extract, because the flavor is imperceptible. I have a suggestion for those of you who have little counter space (since this recipe yields ALOT of dough). I would immediately roll out the dough in batches between sheets of waxed paper rather than chilling balls of dough overnight. I froze layers of rolled out dough, and it was so much easier to work with! If you only refrigerate the dough, it will soften very quickly (in minutes) and become impossible to work with because it is incredibly sticky. So... freezing this dough is the only way to go. Using wax paper cuts the mess. If you do try the wax paper, peel it quickly away from the dough, sprinkly confectioner's sugar over the top, place the wax paper back on, flip the dough over, and quickly remove the wax paper from the other side. Start cookie cutting the dough quickly! The cookie shape will "melt" and will become difficult to remove from the cookie cutter. If you freeze, "flour" with sugar (not flour), and cut as fast as you can, then these cookies will retain their shape and come out tasting great. As another suggest: I also baked them on parchment paper.
