Easy even for a baking spazz like me. Added an extra egg and it turned out well. Thanks for sharing this.

Golden Chicken and Autumn Vegetables

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2009
This turned out really well! I did make a few adjustments. I started with the 2 xlg yams (as advised, but I used 3 cups of green beans, and 2 1/2 c. of stock. When the veggies were ready, I took out the yams and a little more than half the stock/herbs and hand-blended them, adding a little butter and maple syrup. I figured this way, I could save the mashed yams and beans for tomorrow's side dish. Since I cook for two, I like to stretch out recipes as much as I could. The remaining stock in the pan with the green beans and chicken made a nice au jus. My husband gave it a nine out of ten!

Steak Sauce

Easy to make and pretty good, too! I added a bit of cumin and lessened the ketchup because I prefer it less sweet. Thanks!

Artichoke & Spinach Dip Restaurant Style

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2007
Like some other members, I use minced garlic since it's a bit easier. If you are a garlic nut, like I am, the garlic "juice" give s nice kick, too. I recommend combining the ingredients in a blender/food processor before pouring in a baking dish. This is a new Thanksgiving tradition with my family as a dip for the football games!

Grandma's Five Cup Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2007
This very like my mom's "summer salad." Without fail, this dish is always gone at the end of a picnic. I omit the coconut per my mom's tradition, but other than that, this is a summer classic!

New England Dinner

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2004
The directions are misleading, as 1 cup of water was not nearly enough. When I checked the dish's progress half way through, much of the cabbage was a bit burnt, and the potatoes not done at all. I added water and waited a half hour, and the potatoes were barely tender. Next time, I'll try this in a crock pot.

Better Than Sex Cake II

This cake is a hit with everyone who has eaten it. It is VERY rich, but that makes it easy to serve a lot of people. And, the name always draws a laugh. Great recipe, thanks!
