Chocolate Zucchini Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2010
This is a great base recipe - easy to play around with. Like a lot of other reviewers, I used 1/2 whole wheat flour and 1/2 regular flour. I cut the sugar by 1/4 cup and substituted 1/2 of the oil with applesauce. I also added milk chocolate chips. These are yummy, and the house smells wonderful while they are baking.

Fish Tacos

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2010
I followed the recipe as written. These were good, but not spectacular. The beer batter was a nice consistency. My kids weren't a big fan of them, but I think I'd have preferred them with flour tortillas instead of corn. The sauce was tasty, but mine was a bit on the thin and runny side.

Bacon-Onion Pan Rolls

These were excellent! The only change I made was to sautee the onions with the bacon, and I also added fresh garlic towards the end of the sautee. My family raved about these! Thanks for the great recipe.

Creamy Rice Pudding

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2006
Oh, wow. This is awesome. It's my first attempt at making rice pudding and I'm amazed. I had leftover rice in the fridge that I used, and I used regular (not golden) raisins. I also added cinnamon. Thanks for the recipe!

We loved this recipe at our home! I added more cayenne to the half that my husband and I ate, let the kids have the less spicy half. It was great! Thanks for the recipe!

Jack's Chocolate Chip Cookies

These are great cookies! I halved the recipe, but followed it with only two changes. I added cinnamon and used 1/2 walnuts and 1/2 pecans. These didn't spread for me at all. They're wonderful!

Oven Baked BBQ Ribs

My family LOVED this recipe. I used boneless country ribs and covered the dish for an hour like others suggested. Then I basted every 20 minutes for about 2 1/2 hours. Very tasty. Thanks for the recipe!

This is an excellent recipe. I gave it 4 stars only because I felt it was bland - had to jazz it up with spices. Definitely a keeper.

Spinach Quiche

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2006
Like other reviewers said, this is a very forgiving recipe. I changed it up a bit to make it more healthy. I only used 1 T of butter, and only used about 1/2 C of cheddar. I also used two eggs and three egg whites. It was very tasty! Love the addition of the feta for a kick.
