any leftover sauce is also great on chicken baked in the oven & as a side for a baked brie.

tried this last wk, as i was loking for other pasta ideas. was okay, but all the stuff like peppers, shrimp & green onions sank to the bottom-just slipped thru the angel hair. guess i'll stick w/ rotini or shells for my pasta salads, tho i imagine it would be great warm.

Asparagus Roll-Ups

still think the best way to serve thin asparagus spears is to wrap them in some lunch meat smeared w/ a little cream cheese. if the spears are much thicker than a pencil, might want to lightly steam them, but otherwise- fresh is best!

Slow Cooker Cranberry Pork

this was great! i used some raspberry vinegarette & the cranberries & hubby kept saying "this is really good" (he's always suspicious when i sneak fruit in the roasts). thank you!

Yogurt and Tropical Fruit

i was asked to bring a fruit salad for thanksgiving & not liking fruit salas, was at a loss. used key lime yogurt & it went real fast! passed this along & it's been a hit- at christmas, was the 1st salad to be gone. drain the yogurt & fruit real well, tho

Slow Cooker Lancaster County Pork and Sauerkraut

i put a few sliced apples in the bottom of the crock pot & could have done more than the 2, threw in some dried cranberries at the end & thought it was wonderful. took some in to the women i work with & they were leary at first- til they took a taste. will do this often. thank you
