Joey's Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2009
Awful. I will never use this recipe again. I followed it exactly, the cookies were baked perfectly and once they cooled, they turned into hockey pucks--rock hard, dry and crumbly.

So yummy! My grandmother made similar ones and I lost the recipe. I'm glad to have found one almost exactly like it again.

Apple Strudel Muffins

Made these and brought them for some friends and they were a huge hit! People ate them up in about half an hour. Light, moist and not too sweet. Delicious!

Ashley's Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2009
I am sorry but this recipe just doesn't quite work. As another reviewer said, the cookies are quite dry. I followed the recipe exactly and used a non-stick cookie sheet. The cookies burnt around the edges and stuck to the pan. The pan should be greased! The taste of the cookies was good but DRY. There is not enough butter in this recipe.

Lemon Chewy Crisps

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2009
These are awesome! I added almost 2 tbsp of lemon juice and next time will add more (or more zest) to up the lemon flavor. Mine came out very cake-like but I mixed extra on purpose since I prefer a cake-like cookie. I also substitued butter for margarine because of the saturated fat. Very light. Delicious!

Baked Cream Corn

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2009
Rich and delicious. Definitely not something I'd want to eat everyday but it was a big hit with dinner guests. I added some French fried onions to it as well as sprinkling them on top.

Bread and Celery Stuffing

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2008
Absolutely fabulous classic stuffing. I have made this every year for Thanksgiving and Christmas for several years now and it is always a huge hit with my husband and my family. There are rarely any leftovers. I omit the celery because I don't really like celery and this is still fabulous. It is always moist and has wonderful flavor.
