Homemade Mac and Cheese

God forgive me, but I raised my kids on boxed mac and cheese. This recipe is very good, and the kids were disbelieving that mac and cheese that doesn't come from a box was much much better than their old favorite. Now I have to make it all the time. It is well worth it.

Tres Leches (Milk Cake)

I loved this cake! It is creamy and melt in your mouth moist. I am not a great lover of cake because of the dryness factor, but this eliminates that altogether

Balsamic Roasted Red Potatoes

Chocolate Toffee Crunchies

I adore these treats. They are super easy to make, and taste like you are the best pastry chef ever. I take them to work and do they ever disappear quickly. Even though they take very little time to make, all my coworkers think I slave over the oven all day just to bring them in.

Yum! These cookies are sweet (but not too much so), tender and melt in your mouth. Take a little extra time to prepare, but well worth the effort.

Ash-e-jow (Iranian/Persian Barley Soup)

I am a soup fanatic and I am always looking for different soups to add to my repertoire. The only change I made to this soup was using cilantro instead of parsley (I had that on hand). It was very delicious!!! I will make this again.

African Peanut Soup

I loved this recipe. I blackened the peppers and skinned them, then pureed them. This adds a slight smoky flavor that goes well with the peanuts. Will make again.
