About this Cook
I'm a 17 year old girl who loves cooking, and especially, baking. I bake for everyone in my family and all of my friends in my senior high school class. I'm a musician, a baker, and an artist with the dream of someday earning my Ph.D in Industrial Psychology.
My favorite things to cook
As I said, I love baking. Brownies, cookies, pies, and tarts are my strengths. For some reason, I always mess up cakes, but I am determined to master cake baking. (The frosting part never EVER goes well.)
My favorite family cooking traditions
Each year, I make my famous pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving. Nobody can resist it.
My cooking triumphs
My cooking triumphs occur each day, baking for the ones I love. (Cheesy, I know. I am just saying that because I have no cooking awards yet.)
My cooking tragedies
The worst thing that has ever happened to me while cooking is the time I forgot to put eggs in my sugar cookies. I ended up with something resembling oil and flour pancakes.

Best Brownies
I'm a 17 year old girl, and I make these brownies for my friends at school once a month, and they can't get enough of them. I have to triple the recipe just to make enough for everyone who wants ONE brownie! I love this recipe. If brownies are your religion, this recipe has got to be your bible.

Blueberry Pie
Everyone in the family loved this pie! My grandmother is a stickler for blueberry pies, and this one passed the test. The idea to add the butter to the top was genius, it really made a difference. If you're using blueberry pie filling from the can, you can still make the sugar mixture and sprinkle a little bit of it on top. It's an amazing pie.
