Butterscotch Cake II

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2008
This recipe is so easy and I have made it several times. Sometimes I keep it simple and opt for powdered sugar on top. Other times I make my own butterscotch glaze with melted butterscotch chips mixed with some milk and powdered sugar until reaching desired consistency. I make sure I have these ingredients on hand when I am craving an easy cake that is tasty too! My boyfriend loves this cake.

Chicken a la Good

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2007
Great for low carb dieters. Very yummy. I used Wishbone's Italian dressing instead of chicken broth and it turned out sooo good, better than with the chicken broth I've learned. I've made this twice and everyone loved it.

Burrito Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2009
I have made this many times now. It's always good! I put sour cream on top after it's done cooking. I like that there are flour torillas in this casserole, not corn. Definitely has become a favorite.

Bacon Chicken I

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2007
I made this without the celery soup. Instead, I used cream of mushroom and used pre-cooked bacon and crumbled it on top. It tasted pretty good and was easy for a weekday meal.

Swiss Chicken Casserole II

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2009
I have made this so many times I've lost count. DELICIOUS!!!! It's truly amazing. The stuffing cooking in the oven smells like Thanksgiving all over again. I have made it with cream of mushroom soup, and got a richer taste. Easy, and tastes great, what more could you ask for?

These had a great flavor, I liked the lemon with the cranberry and the crunch of the almonds on top. My brother loved them!

Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2009
Oh these are good. So good that my mom says they are her favorite brownies. I'm not the biggest chocolate eater, but I still loved these, 3 cups of sugar and all! Wow, that's a lot of sweetness, but just a square and you're happy. I have already made these twice in one month haha. They're that sinfully yummy. Thanks for the recipe!

Italian Anisette Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2009
I really cannot understand how this got five stars. They weren't good at all! Maybe it's because I just don't like black liccorice flavor, and that's why, or maybe my anise extract went bad, but my mom and I did not finish them. I followed others advice with the baking powder, however, they looked like little biscuits. I love pizzelles, so I thought I would like these, but unfortunately, they weren't good. I wish I could review differently.

Apple Brownies

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2008
These were sooooo good. I kept eating them and there wasn't any left because my dad loved them too. I saw that there wasn't any extract in there, so I added 1 teaspoon of Maple flavoring and they were amazing. I don't know what they taste like without that, but next time I make them I'm adding the maple again, which was a great combo with the apples!

Lemon Icing

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2007
I made this frosting to frost a lemon cake. It was a little too strong for the cake but would probably be yummy on top of a plain white cake. Pretty good and will probably make again.

This was a great recipe. My whole family loved it and we love cheese, so I added a lot more! I used 1/4 cup italian breadcrumbs instead, and it turned out perfect! I Have already made it twice! Will be a recipe I make for years to come. Thanks for sharing it!

Zuppa Toscana

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2009
Everyone in my family loved this. It was actually enjoyable to make. Never used kale before, but yum! Simple and delicious. It reminded me of a good Italian restuarant soup. Will make again.

Beefaroni

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2009
I give this five stars because it's a simple weekday meal, and the recipe can be memorized so when grocery shopping you can pick up the basic items. I've changed it around of course, adding some green bell peppers while cooking the meat, adding spicy Italian sausage instead of ground beef, and different kinds of cheeses. I also change the noodles up a bit instead of just macaroni all the time. It's yummy and it's always a hit.

Monkey Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2009
I wish I could give this a hundred stars. I'm not kidding. My dad, my boyfriend, everyone ate it all up in one night after dinner. I kept going back into the kitchen for more. It's so simple and I couldn't believe how great it turned out from refrigerated biscuits! Will make over and over again for sure.

Graham Streusel Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2009
I have already made this twice. My dad said it's the best coffee cake. My whole family loves it, and now I keep the ingredients so I can make it whenever they are craving it. Just don't make it with white cake mix. It's not the same as it is with yellow!

Cream Cheese Cookies I

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2007
My mom always requests these. I made them last Christmas and I will make them again this year. I make them according to the recipe and roll them in red and green sprinkles for the holidays or keep them plain on any other day.
