YUM! I made this exactly as directed only since my roast was almost 5 pounds I cooked for 30 minutes more. It was the BEST! I'm making it for dinner again tonight!

Sex-In-A-Pan

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2010
My Aunt Sue brought this "pie" to Christmas 15 years ago or so. We didn't have a name for it, so we called it "Sue Pie"....I like your name for it better, lol. Since then we have to have this at every holiday feast, it's tradition now. I highly recommend anyone with a major sweet tooth try this recipe. It's the BEST and my personal all time favorite!

Best Easy Chicken Croquettes

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2008
Suprisingly very yummy! Honestly I wasn't expecting much, but I was looking for a recipe using my leftover chicken and the very few ingredients that I had in my pantry. I came across this recipe and made it for dinner tonight. I only had cream of mushroom soup, but it turned out great with it. Simple, fast, uses leftovers, yet tastes supringly great! All 5 picky kids loved it. What more can you ask for? This mom is very happy with this recipe.

Alaska Salmon Bake with Pecan Crunch Coating

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2006
This was REALLY good! Every Saturday night one of my kids gets to pick the meal and desert. It was my 8 year olds turn and she wanted salmon. I picked this recipe and it was a hit! She said it was the best Salmon she's ever had, and she usually orders that at every restaurant we go to. What makes this recipe even more of a keeper is that my husband actually liked it. He does not like salmon at all, and was not looking forward to dinner. He said if salmon was always made like this, he would eat it more. I see more salmon at our dinner table in our future thanks to this recipe! Thank you for submitting it!

Paradise Pumpkin Pie II

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2006
This was just ok. I made several different pumpkin pie recipes for Thanksgiving this year all from this site. Everyone agreed that this was good, definately not a bad pie, but was the least favorite of the ones I made. The one that everyone raved about was the Brown Family's Favorite Pumpkin Pie recipe from this site.

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2006
I made this for my husband. I asked if it was a good recipe, and he said "it tastes like pumpkin bread". So I don't know if there was anything special about the recipe, but her sure did gobble up the first loaf really fast! I liked it just fine too, but I really don't have anything to compare it too. I haven't had pumpkin bread in a long time before I made this one.

Brown Family's Favorite Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2006
I made a few different pumpkin pie recipes from this site for Thanksgiving this year. This one was everyones favorite hands down! Folding in the fluffy egg whites really does something for the texture of it. It's a much more fluffy/soft pumpkin pie because of it. Not super dense at all like most. The strussel was fabulous and put it over the top. This recipe is a keeper. A must try!

Incredible Punch

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2006
Unfortunately not too many people at my party liked this at all. I wound up throwing most of it out (and it makes A LOT!). I have a sweet tooth that won't quick, but even this was too much for me. Sorry, I tried.

Caramel Apple Dip

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2006
If you're looking for an apple dip, you gotta try this one! I made this for the kids at my sons birthday party. The adults wound up hogging it! Once I tasted it, I knew why. It is really addicting...once you start, it's really hard to stop! Since then, I've made this three times in the last month for my "kids" (great excuse for making more for me haha) for their afternoon snacks. Apparently I'm the best mommy in the world for it! Thanks for sharing this recipe!

Grandma's Chicken Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2006
This is a fantastic recipe. If you are looking for a good chicken noodle soup for comfort food this is it! And it's soooo easy and fast too! The recipe is fantastic as is, but I jazzed it up the second time and I think it made a better one. The most important thing is the broth. Choose a broth that is made from 100% chicken stock. Basically, a homemade stock in a box/can. Be sure to read the ingredients and make sure there is nothing artificially added. Organic would also be ideal. I used a rotisserie chicken which meant that the meat itself was more juicy and flavorful. I also added a couple of carrots cut up, and threw in a handful of peas at the end. Lastly I really liked the flavor that the poultry seasoning added, so I doubled that. YUM YUM YUM!

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2006
Yum, yum, yum, yumitty, yum! Thank you for letting my family think I'm the greatest!! The praises I got for this recipe are priceless. You'd think I fed them only slop before! Very close to Cinnabon, the frosting was right on! I don't have a bread machine, but all I did was add 1/2 c of the warm milk in a seperate bowl with the yeast for maybe 5 minutes. Meanwhile I mixed the flour, sugar and salt, then added all the other wet ingredients and mixed then added the yeast mixture and mixed. Once mixed through, I used my stand mixer to knead the dough with the dough hook for 5 minutes, adding a little more flour. Then I put the dough in a big bowl sprayed with pam and surran wrap on top for maybe an hour as it doubled in size. Easy easy! The dough turned out amazing! Love this recipe! Thank you again.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2006
I made this for the first time tonight. My family loved it and gobbled it up! I added some tomato paste and rosemary and the flavor of the meat itself was very good. For the sauce I only used 1/3 cup of sugar as others have suggested and it turned out really good.

Unbelievable Rolls

These turned out nicely, but the sweet dinner rolls recipe on this site turned out better for me. These were not as light and fluffy and flavorfull as the other recipe. But still very decent.

Sweet Dinner Rolls

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2006
My family absolutly LOVES these rolls! I've attempted a couple of other roll recipes in the past with terrible results of them never rising. I'm very inexperienced. So I attempted these with hesitation, but they turned out beautifully. Very light and fluffy with great flavor. I will only make these rolls from now on.
