I enjoy cooking for other people. I get requests from my family/friends and then experiment with recipes until they're to my liking. Anything that looks good, and tastes even better. Just tried a great flan recipe from this site, and I'm looking to try the "chocoflan" (chocolate cake with a flan layer on top....most delicious thing I've ever had), so if that works, I'll be adding it as my ultimate cooking triumph. :) The only thing I would consider a tragedy was a cheesecake recipe I tried three years back using ricotta cheese. It may have turned out like it was supposed to, but it was the worst thing I had ever made. Everyone spit it out after taking the first bite, and to this day, I still get made fun of for that by my family.
