Key Lime Pie VII

I used 2 cans of condensed milk as others suggested. This pie turned out so good and was so easy to make that I made another one the next day (we were four poeple eating it)!!!

Thai Sweet Sticky Rice With Mango (Khao Neeo Mamuang)

To make this more authentic you need to prepare "stick rice" or glutinous rice which is available at most Asian food stores. You need to soak this rice overnight, then steam it for 30 minutes(don't boil). Try it out, there is no turning back and you'll feel like you are eating in a little dump on Khao San Road. :)

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

I too did not bother with the celery. What a great, filling comfort soup. Had some leftover ham, so this was the perfect way to enjoy it. In fact, I am sure to make another batch tonight. I didn't change a thing other than omitting celery.

Maple Syrup Pudding

this is not the traditional "pudding" as in a smooth jello pudding texture. It is a lot more like a soft cake. it is based on a recipe in Quebec called "pudding chomeur". It is served at most restaurants here and is a very popular dessert. Why it is called pudding we will never know!

Barbecued Beef

I found this to be simply OK. I was really expecting with all the reviews for this to be a really great bbq taste. Next time I think I will just choose a tasty bbq sauce as the marinade instead of all that ketchup, sort of makes it taste cheap.

Irish Potato Candy

I make these every St. Patricks. Since the first time I made them I now have a Cuisinart mixer. SO MUCH EASIER!!! Everyone loves the potato look and they sure don't last long.

Three Cheese Garlic Scalloped Potatoes

These potatoes are so good. I had an orgasma in my mouth...so good. I used half and half cream instead of whipping cream. Less fat, but still very tasty.
