Gulyas Leves

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2005
This passed for a meal but if you're a feeding a beginner-vegetarian family... this will cause havok. Had to make the kids eat some with bribes of ice cream& fruit. Hubby didn't like the thick dumpling/noodles much but he ate it because it's healthy. We thought it was bland, flavorless. Guess we're just not a Hungarian family at heart. Used Sweet Hungarian Paprika and followed instructions , save for the vegetable protien, I crumbled two Original Garden Burgers in. Even added some summer squash slices at the end because it just wasn't tasting like much. What do I do with the rest???

A Number One Egg Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2005
I made this for a scrapbooking party and just made 2 round loaves. After they were finished baking & cooled, I sliced 1/4 of the tops off and hollowed them out. Then I cut the insides into chuncks, filled the "bowl" with spinach dip, arranged bread chunks around the bowl and, "Viola!" It was a fantastic treat! I also used this recipe to make "soup bowls" with cream of broccoli & cheese soup and everyone's plate was empty and I swear licked clean! (children too)

Gyros Burgers

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2005
Maybe it's because I didn't have ground Lamb on hand, but I tried this with ground beef and these just didn't stick together. Fell apart & had to fudge them into the pitas... only to be absolutely, sadly disappointed as we were all anticipating a wonderful meal. This one's not going into my recipe box, sorry.

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2004
I made these with company over... let's just say that these are the BOMB!!! Absolutely to inhale slowly, and savor each and every bite! Fantastic, I'll no longer need to buy cinnamon rolls for a ton of money. These were easy and fun to prepare, too. Next time I do think I'll cut down the brown sugar a little bit, though.
