Cannellini Bean with Flat Leaf Kale

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2005
With a few minor changes this was very good. I used 2 cans of beans, one onion, 3 bouillion cubes, added more kale and more parmesan cheese to taste. Yummy..

Maryland Crab Cakes III

Fabulous! I halved the amount of mayonnaise, added an egg and fried them. Next time I'm going to add a touch more Old Bay since we like things on the spicy side, but don't want to overwhelm the crab flavor. This was so, so good!

Asian Ground Beef and Pepper Saute

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2005
This was very tasty. I used thin sliced steak instead of hamburger and added about 1/4 cup of cooking sherry. I served it over linguine and my family enjoyed it.

Vietnamese Beef And Lettuce Curry

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2005
This was really good! It was a little salty for our taste, so next time I will use half the fish sauce and a tad less chili sauce. BTW- I used curry power, I'm assuming Cumin is a type-O?

Cooking Light magazine's Chicken Parmesan

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2005
This dinner is fabulous! I doubled the amount of cheese and simmered it for about 30 minutes. I fed a family of 4 and used only 2 chicken breast. I cut each breast into 4 pieces and flattened it with a mallet. Everyone ate plenty and there were leftovers. My family loved it!

Portuguese Style Beefs

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2005
This recipe was tasty, but the meat was not very tender. I think next time I will let the meat marinate for several hours. The red pepper is a nice compliment to the beef and we had roasted potato's.

This dish is fabulous! The flavor is rich, creamy and spicy. I will make this again and again. 5 stars should be reserved for the very best!

Garlic Chicken Stir Fry

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2004
With the exception of substituting the cabbage for broccoli, I followed this recipe to the letter. The flavor was so-so and there was not enough sauce and it was too thick. I am going to try it again, but I will add a 1/4 cup of sherry and atleast 1/2 cup more chicken broth, more garlic and perhaps some red pepper flakes.

Moroccan Lentil Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2004
I made this soup tonight- it did not have alot of flavor. I added three bouillion cubes and 1/2 teaspoon more of both Cumin and Garam Masala. It was very good, I will make it again.
