Slow Cooker Cranberry Roast
I made the recipe with one substitution, I had a can of cranberry sauce with whole cranberries in the pantry already so I used that. The roast turned out great! Tender and with a slightly sweet flavor. The leftover meat was fantastic in barbque sauce the next night. But the "gravy" tasted very weird. Too sweet for me. It might be better with pork, but I doubt I'll try it again. Except to cook the roast in and then toss the "gravy". The meat, it was awesome!

Jennie's Heavenly Slow Cooker Chicken
I made this recipe yesterday and after reading reviews and looking in the pantry, I decided to sub chicken broth for the wine and regular mushroom soup. I melted everything in the crock pot on low and then added the chicken breasts - frozen. I thought it would take extra time, but at 4 hours I checked and the chicken was done and pulled apart easily. This was very rich, and good over rice. My only complaint was a slightly sweet taste that wasn't bad but distracting. I used Zesty Italian dressing so it's possible it had extra sugar. If I make it again, I'll go with the regular Italian.
