Slow Cooker Cranberry Roast

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2011
This is fantastic. The first time I made it I cooked it on high by accident. The whole thing shredded into bits but I had no choice but to serve it. It was delicious and succulent. It would be great over split rolls as a sandwich too.

Mashed Sweet Potatoes

These were yummy but next time I'll beat them rather than mash them and I'll add a little brown sugar.

Cornbread and Sausage Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2010
Delicious! Only change I made was baking the cornbread in a 9x12 pan so that it was really thin. Then I was able to cut it into cubes which I prefer over a crumbled dressing. I followed another reviewer's suggestion of baking the spices with the cornbread and the veggies with the sausage. Everyone of us loved this recipe. Thanks for sharing!

Apple Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2010
I followed the recipe exactly with the exception of using 9 cups of apples because I have a deep dish pie plate. Delicious!!!

Pumpkin Crunch Cake

I liked this cake with the exception of the extremely buttery topping. Will have to figure out how to tweak it.

Best BBQ Shrimp Ever

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2010
His mother-in-law is my mother so I agree about the recipe. I only leave the tails on if I'm serving these as an appetizer. They're delicious cold too.

Best BBQ Shrimp Ever

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2010
This is fantastic over rice or as an appetizer while the steak is grilling. I reduced the oil to 3/4 cup without a problem. Even my son who doesn't like seafood likes this dish.

Garlic Shrimp Scampi

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2010
Made this for my son's 15th birthday and it was delicious! Only recommendation would be to make a little more sauce if you like your pasta well coated. I also added a bit of fresh parsley at the end for some color.

Charleston Breakfast Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2009
This is my "go to" recipe for holiday brunches since it's so easy to prepare and doesn't take up a shelf in the fridge overnight. I always eliminate the butter and sometimes the bell pepper (my son doesn't like it). I use Hormel bacon pieces or sometimes I'll crisp ham or canadian bacon if I'm out of bacon pieces. Yummy delicious and so simple!!
