Bacon Cheeseburger Rice

Really good-used ground turkey, cooked onion and garlic in the bacon grease first. only used 1 cup of brown rice and it was plenty!!

Mall Pretzels

Awesome!! Made these as directed but used fast rising yeast so skipped first step to let yeast sit. Wrapped these around turkey sausage links and baked-yummy!!

Caramelized Baked Chicken

Awesome!! Used boneless breasts and pork chops. Cooked sauce on stovetop and used 1/2 cup honey + some brown sugar. 1/4 cup soy and 1/4 cup teriyaki, then added 2 tlb cornstarch into about 1/4 cup water to thicken. Poured over meat and cooked like directed SO good, put over fried rice recipe from this site.

Creamy Chicken Bake

So good but did change a little just for my family's taste. Used cream of chicken soup and added a scoop of sour cream to the sauce. Also seasoned the chicken before putting in the dish. Really good-served over egg noodles-may add another can of soup next time just for more sauce.

Mom's Rum Cake

Really good-followed directions exactly. Thought I did something wrong when I added the rum to the glaze because it got so thin but poured into bottome of bundt pan like others and put cake back in to soak. The top was strong but good!!

After-Thanksgiving Turkey Soup

this was SO good, couldn't believe all the turkey that I got off the bones. Followed exactly but used light margarine and half and half and milk. Makes a ton which is great with us!

Teriyaki Chicken

This was AWESOME!!! I cut up a whole chicken and used about 1/2 cup soy with some chicken broth, also like others used brown suger. Once done, I cooked the remaining marinade with cornstarch and poured over veggies and brown rice-can't wait for the leftovers!!

Bourbon Chicken

Pretty good, I used vanilla in place of the bourbon, but may have been a little too sweet for us. Would make again but with the bourbon, got scared from reading reviews that it was too strong.

Sloppy Joe Sandwiches

These were so good-my husband is not a Manwich fan since there are peppers in it so this was perfect! Just the right amount of sweet, I did add a few shots of hot sauce and used ground turkey-Yum!

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

Ok, this was good but I am not a baker and I know why-I just don't have the patience for dough to rise!! I followed directions exact but didn't let the crusts rise again once we got them on the pans. Made heart-shaped pizza for valentine's day-would make again, just when I have more time.

Southwestern Egg Rolls

How can so many wonderful reviews be wrong!! These were great!! I used egg roll wrappers and baked them-didn't freeze them either. Baked at 450 for about 15 minutes. Used 1 can of chicken, i can of black beans and almost all spinach and it made about 16 rolls.

Kettle Corn

Ok, I am only giving this 1 star, but I am hoping it was something I did!! We had to throw this out-my was all stuck together and browned. Almost like the sugar tried to caramalize. Maybe too hot, but sugar just didn't want to melt-help-what did I do wrong? may try again.
