Shrimp Kabobs

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2011
Amazing recipe, has become a staple in my home. I make it every time I have guests b/c most of it can be prepared beforehand, and when it's time to put them on the grill, it only takes around 15 minutes.

Baked Potato Skins

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2011
These were GOOD. Very good. The only thing I would change next time is a little less salt in the mix....but I'm a person who doesn't really like salty food in general. Tasty, crispy and delicious.

Indian Chicken Curry II

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2011
I didn't try it myself because I don't eat chicken - the review by my family was that the flavor was great but the chicken was hard and chewy. Any suggestions? It was fresh chicken breast (not previously frozen).

Tropical Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2011
The cake was definitely moist. However, I followed the directions exactly and I felt that the cake had an eggy taste. It was definitely well-mixed so I'm not sure what the problem was.

Grilled Marinated Shrimp

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2010
Amazing. Had a bunch of people over for dinner and these were the first things that were gone. Delicious flavor with a slight kick. Will definitely be making these again and again. I can see how they'd be a great addition to a pasta dish. I made them with mushrooms, green pepper and onion in between each shrimp - 2 jumbo shrimps on each wooden skewer.

Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2010
Not sure what went wrong with these, but I followed the recipe to a tee and they didn't turn out good at all. I am a vegetarian so i didn't get to taste them, but was told they were dry and the flavor wasn't too good... even though I used good quality, fresh (not previously frozen) chicken breast.

Ninety Minute Cinnamon Rolls

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2010
YUM. Delicious cinnamon rolls. The dough for me was still quite sticky after adding the rest of the flour (total of 3 1/4 cups) so I added another 1/2 cup and then used a LOT of flour for dusting when I was kneading it. Was worried this would make the dough dry, but it didn't at all. I baked them in the muffin cups, but next time, I think I'll use the Pyrex 13x9. And as another user said, DEFINITELY put a tray under these, I didn't and they were dripping so much that there was a lot of smoke in my kitchen! They cooked in 15 minutes.

Sweet and Sour Chicken I

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2010
An excellent recipe. Very authentic. Should be served with white, steamed, jasmine rice. I can't think of anything to change in this recipe! It is a bit time-consuming and messy... but the result is well worth it. Has been requested again and again.

Emily's Famous Hash Browns

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2004
We didn't like this at all. It came out with way too much egg flavor. I tried it again with half the amount of egg and it still didn't taste good. It wasn't flavorful enough and I think it needs to be fried in butter rather than oil.
