Cajun Corn and Crab Bisque
Oh this is sooo yummy! I made it with imitation crab to save on cost and crossed my fingers it wouldn't come out horrible. But it's so delicious even with the fake stuff! I couldn't find liquid crab boil but was able to find the stuff that comes in the boil packets, so I grew that in there while it cooked and just removed the bag and squeezed out the excess liquid before serving. I did not have Cajun seasoning on hand so I used Old Bay and added some cayenne. Obviously I did some of my own tweaking out of necessity, but it still came out fabulous! It reminds me a lot of the crab bisque we sometimes get from Zoup--but even better flavor to the bisque! Yummy!

Garlic and Parmesan Dinner Rolls
Omg! These are amazing! I was in search of a recipe that was just like the garlic cheese rolls I used to get from the school cafeteria and this is it! Anything involving yeast is always a bit of work, but this is worth it! Anything I've ever tried to make with yeast has never turned out right so I was so nervous but these came out great! To save on time next time I will use premade pizza dough...but I'm sure it won't turn out as good. These are great!

Savory Slow Cooker Beef Tips
This was very good. Even the super picky 5 year old ate it. I had to tweak it a bit because of what I had on hand, however. I used 4 sirloin steaks and had to replace the ginger ale with cream soda because that was what I had on hand. It came out a bit sweet, but no one noticed except me--I think it was only because I knew I had substituted the cream soda. It was very tender and still had a nice hearty flavor with a gravy consistency, and made a lot. We used the extra gravy over rice. With the substitutions I would rate it 4 stars, but I would definitely make this again with the right ingredients and I think it would be 5 stars.
