Peanut Butter Fudge Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2005
This is a very good chocolate cake. It is more like a sheet cake, and very moist. It is so good with the peanut butter. I added milk chocolate and peanut butter chips to the batter and it was great. I took this to a group get together and everyone loved it. I will make it again for sure!

Braided Egg Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2012
This is a WONDERFUL challah recipe. You can half it if you don't want quite as much bread. I knead mine in my large kitchen aid and I substitute honey for the last 1/2 C of water. It makes for a sweeter more authentic challah. I also add about 1/2 tsp salt due to the added sweetness from the honey. You can make it just as is and it's still wonderful and makes amazing french toast the next day!

Three Cheese Baked Pasta

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2010
I really like this recipe for when I want a lasagna type recipe, but without as much work! I added a small can of tomato paste, Italian seasoning, garlic, salt and some water to my 24 oz jar of sauce. I didn't have provolone cheese, but just used mozzarella and Parmesan. I use penne noodles because my girls love them and this is a yummy dinner!

J.P.'s Big Daddy Biscuits

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2011
This were the easiest and best biscuits I have ever made. The dough is very runny and wet once mixed up, but I just add a little more flour and then knead a few times on a floured surface. They are fabulous!

Abby's Chicken Rollatini

Very tasty, but all the filling oozed out of my chicken roll ups. Next time I will try to wrap them better. My husband liked this and I will make it again.

Clark's Quiche

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2007
WOW! WOW! WOW! I made this for my husband and our chuch musicians gathering and it was a HUGE hit! I used a 9" deep dish and a 10" deep dish. I used a low carb tortilla for the 10" since a lot of people were on low carb and it turned out great too. A keeper!

Chicken Alfredo Pizza

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2005
This was a great pizza! My husband loved it and I have made it twice in one week. I did use colby and montery jack cheese instead of Ramon and Pizza Crust 1. It still turned out great. Thanks for the great recipe.

Rugelach

These are really great...more like a pastry then a cookie. I used mini chocolate chips instead of raises and left out the cinnamon....so yummy and will make again!

Famous Butter Chicken

Very simple, easy and tasty! I usually cut my chicken breast up into tender sized pieces and it makes them like chicken fingers. My family devours these every time I make it!

Oven Fresh Seasoned Potato Wedges

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2011
These are really yummy and make a nice crispy coating on the outside of the potatoes. I used red potatoes because they are my favorite. I just quartered them and then followed the rest of the directions. They were very yummy and my family ate them up fast!

Fluffy Biscuits

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2010
These were fabulous biscuits. My husband thought they were store bought because I have always had a hard time making really good biscuits. I did use cold butter instead of shortening, but kept the rest exactly the same. I will be making these again...probably this week!

Jewish Apple Cake II

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2008
Wonderful! I didn't have enough oil so I did 1/2 C oil and 1/2 C melted butter. I also added another apple and about 1 Tbs sugar and 1/2 tsp cinnamon to the apples. I baked it for one hour, but it needed the full 80 min so I put it back in. Next time I will mix the apples in the batter since my cake seperated in the middle because all the apples were in the middle, but that was probably because I added more apples! This is a keeper and I am glad I tried it!

Pumpkin Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2008
I wanted a coffee cake that wasn't too sweet and my husband loves pumpkin so I thought this one would be great. I did add a whole 15 oz can of pumpkin as someone suggested, and I used 1 tsp of the pumpkin pie spice II recipe. I also did add an extra half cup pecans to the topping because I just love pecans. I baked it for 45 minuets, but it could have been cooked a little longer due to it was VERY moist, almost gooey due to the extra pumpkin added. I wanted more of a coffee cake texture and this was much more "brownie like". My husband and his friends just raved and raved about it so I gave it a 5 star. I am going to see if I like it better in the morning. Overall a great recipe.

Grilled Salmon I

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2008
I followed some of the reviews and didn't add nearly as much soy sauce. I did decrease the brown sugar too since I didn't want it to be too sweet. I baked the salmon in foil packets as also was suggested, but I think this would be the best on the grill. Mine is out of commission so I had to bake it. It was still VERY good and I will make it again. My 4 and 5 year olds liked it too so that is an added bonus.
