Fantastic! Used whole wheat flour, all butter and blueberry Craisins. They are chewy and fabulous. These will be made over and over again.

Snickerdoodles II

Fantastic recipe. So easy and delicious. My only addition was 2 TSP of vanilla. The cookies come out soft and chewy and perfect.

Slow Cooker Carnitas

This recipe was easy to make and amazing! I had a smaller pork shoulder (about 2.5 pounds), so I doubled the spices except for the cinnamon, and it came out great. I put the rub on the night before and wrapped it in saran wrap. Put it in the slow cooker on low and it was ready in 6 hours. Did as others suggested and put the meat in the oven at 400 degrees for 20 minutes (with some of the cooking liquid), then moistened it with a bit more liquid when it was done. We served it with corn tortillas and roti bread, guacamole and pico. It was superb, and we'll definitely be adding this to the rotation.

Coconut Blueberry Cake

This cake came out amazing! Not too sweet - perfect with coffee and tea. I used 2 cups of blueberries and didn't use the lemon glaze. I will make this cake over and over!

Soft Christmas Cookies

Fabulous cookies! I used 3 1/4 C flour and real butter as other reviewers. I also rolled out using powdered sugar. These are chewy and amazing cookies, and the dough is super easy to work with. This recipe made 53 mid-sized cookies for me. These would be great with just sugar, butter frosting or royal icing.

Double Chocolate Pie

I absolutely LOVE this pie, and my family requests it for every gathering. I use a homemade shortbread cookie crust, and it's simply delicious. I also use 3/4 cup of milk chocolate and 2 ounces of dark chocolate, since my family prefers milk to dark. This pie is PERFECT.

Whoopie Pies

Followed other reviewers and added 1 box of instant pudding and 3 TBSP of flour. I used a medium sized cookie scoop (OXO). I have a Kenmore electric range (circa 2005) and baked for 11 minutes to perfection. They are glossy and delicious. I used a buttercream recipe from this site (butter, powdered sugar, vanilla, salt) to fill, as I don't care for cooked frosting. I'm planning to run the edges through red sugar for a holiday touch.
