Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2015
I made these cookies, and the recipe is absolutely stupendous! If they came out diamond hard. I can't imagine why? Mine are soft, and delicious.. I added 1/2 tsp salt. and 1/4 cup or so of coconut, oatmeal and raisons, wheat germ.. and had to use half whole wheat flour, as I ran out of white.. but even my Ohhh so finiky husband did not pick up on it.......... and he loved the addition of coconut and raisons .....Wonderful recipe, have also made without these additions, and still just s soft and delicious! Thanks for sharing this amazing and now my go to chocolate chip cookie recipe! :)

Chicken and Rice with Meat

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2010
I give this recipe 5 stars... everyone loves it.. I have been making this recipe for years.. The only changes I would make are to cube the chciken breasts after poaching... add two chicken bouillion packets.. and I usually bake it in the oven in a small roasting pan at 350.. for about 30 min.... or until liquid is absorbed...also.. I have found, that peanuts, believe it or not, make a great subsitution in a pinch for the pine nuts... If it seems dry, also add a few tbsp butter.. and or vegetable oil... Enjoy!

Honey Garlic Ribs

Reviewed: May 14, 2006
I liked this recipe.. Rather than bake though, I stirfried the ribs in a little oil, then poured off the oil, and added the sauce(to which I added some cornstarch to thicken and a bit of crushed pineapple, and some garlic, and seasoned to my taste)and covered and simmered till sauce was slightly thickened and ribs were oh so tender... Cleanup was a breeze! Enjoy...

Streusel-Topped Muffins

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2006
I liked this recipe, they were very easy to make,I added some cinnamon and applesauce to the original recipe, and just for fun, swirled some marmelade through the muffin batter with a fork...Definately add some flour to the streusel topping and a bit of orange zest is nice too...!

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2004
These cookies are surprisingly easy to make as well as being delicious!... I cut back on the amount of chips.. I subsituted shortening for the margarine and added 1 cup of quick cooking oats... and 1 cup of raisons... for added chewiness and nutrition..People tell me that these are the best chocolate chip cookies they have ever tasted.. and I am inclined ot agree...!
