These cookies were a hit at a going-away party for a friend who is moving 'Down Under.' Delicious and relatively simple, although a bit labor-intensive with all the dipping and coating at the end. I found that the glaze did tend to cool too quickly and had to microwave it a couple times while I was coating the cookies.

Pat's Award Winning Carrot Cake

Rave reviews, demands for the recipe, etc. This was the very first carrot cake recipe I've ever attempted, and the results couldn't have been better. Moist, not too sweet (the frosting balances out nicely) - TRY THIS!!

Passover Chocolate Mandelbrot

"Best Mandelbrot I've ever had!" - a comment made by my calorie-conscious mother-in-law - with a compliment like that, how can anyone doubt this recipe?! Seriously though - this recipe is a keeper - easy, tasty and makes enough to serve to a crowd. Definitely make 3 loaves, bake it twice (10 minutes each side once sliced) and sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar. The more crunchy the better!

Sugar Cookie Drops

Light, crispy, buttery - these are the perfect sugar cookie! When you bite into one of these little treats you will immediately be reminded of the can of Danish Butter cookies that your Mom used to receive as a gift around the holidays. I used the recipe 'as is' and found it easy and so worth the time. Use colored sugar to dress them up, and I used a grid-pattern potato masher instead of a fork to compress each round ball of cookie dough.
