About this Cook
I am a female gamer who loves to cook. I have one dog and three cats! I am married to my high school sweetheart who I met online a looong time ago! :)
My favorite things to cook
I love making thinking of everyday recipes and adding my own special twist! I love Italian and Spanish foods! I make a really great spaghetti. I absolutely love making carne asada tacos or.. well any type of taco, tbh. My husband won't eat veggies so I have to find ways to make my dishes flavorful with spices. I am always running out of onion powder.. lol
My favorite family cooking traditions
I always make Christmas dinner. I love glazing my ham with my own special herbs/spices and I make all the fixin's to go with it. Green bean casserole (I add bacon and grilled onions) Smoked weenies wrapped in bacon with brown sugar, Sweet corn, Mashed potatoes with gravy, and I make my homemade chocolate Texas sheet cake for dessert. Everyone LOVES my Cake! I always have to make it for every family event.
My cooking triumphs
Well, I always had a hard time cooking bacon for the longest time. I would always overcook it and it would be that crumbly kind of burnt bacon that isn't so good. Well, after many countless attempts I am finally able to make edible bacon!
My cooking tragedies
I would have to say the first time I decided to cook this huge chicken for thanksgiving *we don't like turkey* I had never made a chicken before and I found a recipe online, decided to go with it, but it just didn't turn out how I wanted it to. It took forever to cook and by the time it was done we had all filled up on everything else. It had this weird gunk from the vegetables it told me to stuff in it and it just.. wasn't that great. lol

Easy Lasagna II
Absolutely fantastic and easy! Although like other reviewers i think there was way too much cottage cheese. I cut back on that significantly and only used 16 oz. It was still plenty. Very good and easy recipe

Berdean's Cube Steak
This was extremely tasty with so little ingredients! The only thing i did different was mix my beef bullion in with my water before covering my steaks. They came out tender and full of flavor!
