Country Fried Squash

This was excellent! It's a great basic breading that can be customized based on your personal tastes. I used zucchini because that's what I had but it would be great on any kind of squash or for fried green tomatoes. I reduced the milk and added seasoned salt instead of the other spices. If you like a thick crust, definitely double dip - egg, then dry mixture, then egg, then dry mixture again. Yummy!

Beer Bread I

Following other reviewers' advice, I increased the sugar to 1/3 cup, split the batter between two pans and let it sit for 30 minutes. I poured melted butter on top as well. The bread was fantastic! I had recently been to a Tastefully Simple party and was looking for a similar beer bread. This is very, very close! It was a hit with everyone of our family and friends who tasted it.
