Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2006
Made this two ways: one with garden combo sauce and one w/ meat sauce. everyone loved it. followed recipe. cooked first set of noodles for ten minutes and i think that was too long as they broke. the second set, cooked for 8 1/2 mins and that worked better! WONDERFUL RECIPE...family said they would want me to make this again!

Chewy Chip Bars

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2006
Didn't have choc chips, so I subsituted and used raisins and chopped pecans. Made them more into a sweet breakfast bar than a dessert. Very good! Not a lot of mess to clean up. Will def make these again. Great to use w/ leftover chips! Used suggestion to add honey and after leaving uncovered for the day, did not fall apart.

Apple Almond Crunch Salad

Great salad! Added extra raisins for taste and some sunflower seeds. Even my mom, who is very picky, said she'd take it for lunch the next day. Thank you for this quick and easy recipe!!!

Mom's Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2005
LOOOOOVE this recipe! I follow the directions to a T and it turns out great everytime. I doubled the recipe and made 3 9" deep dish pies, cooking each for 10 minutes longer because it was still a little liquidy on top. Served cold with whipped cream. We kept one, I sent one to a co-worker's family and one to work. EVERYONE devoured it. Even three people who generally do not like pumpkin pie had seconds and raved about the recipe! My boyfriend had two peices everyday until it was gone, and he never eats sweets. A WONDERFUL recipe, and I'm already being asked to make more.

Laura's Quick Slow Cooker Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2005
Didn't have measuring spoons (we just moved and I can't find half my stuff) so I guess-timated and it still turned out great. My boyfriend had two huge servings and took the rest for lunch today at work. Easy recipe. We topped it with shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled crackers. YUM!

Seven Layer Dip I

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2005
Not a bad dip at all! A little messy in the pan once people start diggin in, but by the end of the night, completly empty tray! Skipped the guacamole and added the cheese dip above the salsa. Hard to spread sour cream on beef. Added green and red bell peppers to top for added variety. The party go'ers LOVED this!

Easy Snack Wraps

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2005
This is the easiest recipe. You can spice it up however you want. I made 3 variations: 1 with roast beef, mozerella cheese, and mixed the cream cheese w. dry french onion dip (to taste); one with ham, mozerella cheese, lettuce, and mixed c.c. with dry italian (to taste), and lastly turkey, carrots, lettuce and mixed c.c. with ranch to taste. WERE A HIT. either refrigerate overnight then cut, or use toothpicks!

Best Broccoli Salad

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2004
Very good, tastes like summer. I doubled the amount of mandarian oranges and added the sunflower seeds all throughout the recipe to increase the "crunch." Tastes great. Regarding the oranges, I also sliced each peice in two so there was more peices of fruit throughout!

Cheesy Breads

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2004
Made these with the baked ziti recipe... makes a LOT of them, so make sure that unless you are having a lot of people over, you split the recipe. We were stuffed and kept eating these... prob until it made us sick!!! Loved them though. Good mix of everything. WIll be making this again, probably for a party though.

Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2004
LOVE THIS DISH!!! Few changes I made, especially based on what people wrote before. 1. I covered it for 40 mins w. foil and then 10 w.out. Also added the covered cookie pan on tray below dish, and happy I did. 2. Instead of shredded moz. cheese, I just took a square and sliced peices and layered with them. my mom use to do this for our lasagna and its delicious...cheesier. 3. Added garlic salt to the sauce. 4. Instead of just 2 T of parm on top, I just shook and shook until there was LOTS. We love cheese, so the more the merrier. This was just an awesome recipe... LOOOOVED it and passed it on to a friend. Makes plenty, and I will be having it for lunch/dinner today, and he will have for lunch, and we still are freezing 5 peices! :) GREAT dish!
