My cooking triumphs
Scallops Mornay and a Wild Rice casserole, not a mix. People think I've slaved over the stove with these recipes and it seems like it is a rich dish, but it isn't. Also home made pizza, I can never go wrong with any of these dish's.
My cooking tragedies
The first time I cookd a fresh Turkey (a young bride). I left the crop in and when i was cleaning out the stuffing after everyone had left, I discovered corn in my hand as I was removing the stuffing. I knew I didn't stuff the bird with corn. I called my Mom and she laughed and said I left the crop in. I didn't even know what that was.

Chicken Asparagus Roll-Ups
I made this as written. The Panko crumbs didn't get as brown as I would have liked but it was a 5 star for sure. I served it with Mushroom Orzo (from this site) and that made the dish a ten star! I also served it with mixed greens, strawberries, sugared pecan salad on the plate also. Just a little salad to make it look pretty. MY DH has not stopped talking about it.

Mushroom Orzo
This is fantastic. I used chicken broth and about 3/4 cup of coarsely chopped onion. ( I didn't have pearl onions in the house) I used Sauvignon Blanc wine. I served it with Chicken Asparagus Roll Ups from this site. Just a little mixed greens with strawberries and sugared pecans, and Hazelnut raspberry dressing on the plate also.. It looked beautiful and tasted great. You can make the roll ups ahead of time. A wonderful company dinner. I think this was my DH favorite dinner ever.

Pork Medallions with Balsamic Vinegar and Capers
I don't know what I did wrong becauseI followed the recipe to a T. The only thing i think might have made it so bad was my Kirklands Balsamic vinegar. It had been in my pantry about a year and was not expired. it was way too sour, and the presentation was not pretty. A dark brown.. I did as another person, made mashed potatoes and fresh streamed broccoli . I doubled the sauce recipe as others had done. I wish I could figure out what the problem was.
