Deviled Egg Dip

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2014
This sounded odd, but I made it to try it out as one of several Game Day dips with crackers. None of the other dips got touched - the guys scarfed this down & literally begged for more! It was the hit of the night - will be using this often!

Blackened Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2014
This is SMOKE-LESS (and I have the touchiest smoke detector ever made). If it smoked, you oiled the grill. Directions say to oil the Baking Sheet, and the Chicken. I'm throwing out all my other chicken recipes. This is THAT good. I doubled the seasoning, and added 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder per batch. I pounded the chicken flat - used 3) large breasts cut into thirds before pounding. I sprinkled each side lightly but evenly. I baked them at 350 for the 5 minutes, then TURNED OVER & baked for 5 more minutes. Since the chicken was flat, this was perfect. Juiciest, most flavorful & easiest chicken I've ever made. Beautiful too.

Butternut Squash and Sweet Potato Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2014
I added some lowfat cream cheese & nutmeg. I didn't have any ginger, so I used garlic. Topped it with French Fried Onions. Best butternut squash soup ever. Yummm.

Monster Breakfast Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2014
OMG These are delicious! I changed a few minor things for health & allergy reasons. Substituted Coconut Oil for the vegetable oil, used Chia Seeds & Hemp Seeds instead of Flax Seeds because I only had the ground Flax. Used Peppita Seeds instead of sesame seeds. I can't eat raisins, so used chopped dates & dried cherries. I also added Walnuts. I accidentally added Baking Powder so they are probably puffy and maybe should've been flat, so I tamped them down with a spatula before baking. I increased the seasoning a touch by adding some Allspice & Nutmeg. The smell of them baking makes you stand at the oven & wait for them! YUM.

Juicy Slow Cooker Chicken Breast For Any Diet

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2014
I had intended to make this exactly as written, which I usually do before making changes. I was out of a couple things so I did use Diced Tomatoes with Basil & Garlic, and used packaged Taco Seasoning instead of the Italian Seasoning. This was almost to simple to be so good! The chicken flavor was heavenly, moist & juicy. The leftovers made wonderful sandwiches. I will be using this recipe a lot - probably again this week!
